Great look for Queen Maxima. Subtle colors, nice hairstyle and no outlandish jewelry. She seems to have upped her game in fashion and I like it.

    1. Absolutely agree. Her hair looks great like this. I love to see her in her element at these events where she can use her undoubted intellect to work with others on some of the world's most challenging problems.

QMax looks really good here. I love her hair--chic and perfect for the occasion. I do like the color combination but I'm not sure about one thing--the bottom of the blouse or the top of the skirt. Is it leather? Guess I'm not a fan of the mixed fabrics. Still, Max looks great and the minimalism in terms of outfit and jewelry is such a good choice for her.

She has worn this skirt before and the top of it is probably plastic, not leather. My objection to this skirt is the same as always, too many wrinkles. Otherwise she looks very good now that she has toned down on jewellery.

@ Ladyofthemanor. Try to sit down for hours in a conference without having any wrinkle in your clothes when the conference is over.

To me, there is a difference between wrinkles and creases. Wrinkles indicate the garment was never pressed or steamed and the wearer went out looking a mess. Creases are what happens to the fabric during the course of the day when the person wearing it sits, wears a seat belt, or puts on a coat or jacket. Natural fabrics are notorious for creasing, but people who know fashion understand this and appreciate the quality fabrics.

    3. For 2024, I’m going to try the new “Royal” cabbage diet which is making a lot of noise in the international press.
They claim that it’ll blow away the kilos in no time.

  6. J'aime beaucoup l'association du noir avec peut-être du kaki comme sur la première photo ?! Ses cheveux sont bien coiffés avec un petit noeud sur la nuque !

  8. I’m so pleased to see Q.Maxima back on the scene.
She’s been missing off the radar screen for awhile now.
    I was getting worried.
Nice combo for the meeting. A nice feminine business look.

Well maybe that’s good Virginia but I love the OTT Max with all her “wow’s” and “disasters”.
Please don’t change too much dear Max.

@ deadeggs. She probably just got back from a warm climate where she spent the Christmas holidays.
Don't worry about her outfits, she is wearing her old dresses, skirts and tops and all of a sudden everybody likes it. People forget quickly you know.

Odd color combination and the plastic look on the skirt is not a good one. Hair up is better than down and unkempt.
