  1. I love Catherine in red, but then this blue also is fantastic on her! Especially with these earrings.

Royal Family signed off on a 12-month assault by the UK media to make Harry and Meghan unattractive to business partners, aiming to ensure the failure of the one-year trial period. Are the UK media fullfill there role as the fourth estate?

    3. Agree that Sophie looks best. Lovely combination of color and cut. It’s pathetic that Sarah’s first appearance at this walk in decades sees her in a coat that is too tight—a frequent issue for her. There is nothing wrong with extra pounds but, please, wear clothes that fit your actual size, not your fantasy wishes. And her best feature, her shapely legs, are cut off in ugly short boots.

    4. Agree. Sophie and her daugther are most elegant and radiant.

  4. Camilla looks great and bright. They are all dressed too dark for my liking. However: Merry Christmas, Frieda

  6. The best dressed ladies : Lady Margarita I think with a blue coat and a band of dry flowers in her hair (Last picture), Duchess of Edinburgh (Sophie) : I like the neckline of her coat and the bodice not the skirt, I also like her hat. Queen Camilla : Not a bad coat, I like her hat and her boots in the same color as the coat. All the rest look boring. The royal ladies still seem to favor their headbands, which are no longer fashionable. Among the men only Jack Brooksbank's coat has an up-to-date cut.

  7. C'est tout de suite la duchesse Sophie qui a mes faveurs tant dans les couleurs de son chapeau original que de son manteau ; j'aime beaucoup ses nouvelles boucles d'oreilles qui se combinent à merveille !

  8. Love the Queen’s camel coat, with the interesting edge detail, and hat…she looks fantastic! I’m also loving the young ones fashion…thumbs up to the check pants on Louis and the camel coat on the little girl between Zara and Mike.

  11. Love Sophie's coat, stunning. The Princess Royal looks particularly lovely, her coat and accessories, perfect. Zara looks splendid, the coat, her hat and bag, excellent choices. Lady Margarita, love the band of dried flowers, this looks divine! Catherine looks beautiful, I love the coat, though it is a bit of the same thing in different color with her, regardless she looks exceptionally lovely. It would be nice to see something different. Love the Sapphire and diamond earrings, beautiful and a lovely addition. Her small clutch and boots look splendid with the blue coat, which is a beautiful color.

  12. The coats are fantastic. I really like the PoW blue coat, QC tan with matching boots. The DoE is a wow just love it. Nice to see Sarah there with her family. Lots of shawls, I read a gift from the King to members if his family. The head gear from Pss Beatrice and Eugenie looked nice so their coats. Little Wolfie was not there this year. Hope they had a great time after church. css

  15. Beauty all around. BTW the engagement during which Prince William briefed the Sunday Times Editor took place in October 2019 (in a South London pub) but was only made public by the Sunday Times royal correspondent in January 2020 after Harry and Meghan announced their exit. twitter.com/royal_suitor/s…

What purpose could this meeting have served if not to reassure the tabloids that the Royal Family is on their side and to discuss how they could collaborate against Prince Harry and put pressure on him?

    Beauty all around.

  16. The memo must have clearly stated “hats and coats for the ladies”
Camilla’s coat has a nice “difference” about it. Like it!
This is just how I would expect the royal ladies to be dressed for a Christmas day service in a local, upper class English village.
Love the Great Gatsby 1920’s style of coat worn by Prince Edward.
I hope the family enjoyed a Happy Christmas.
So nice to see Duchess Fergy’s sins have been forgiven.

  18. Great photos and great outfits.
Love the hats of the Princess of Wales and Queen Camilla in particular, though the rest are also looking good.
Duchess of Edinburgh's coat is my favourite but also like the blue shades of P of W, Lady Margarita and Lady Louise. The Princess Royal's winter white is also a great look for her.
Good to see that the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York were able to join their daughters and grandchildren for Christmas day.
The Duke of Edinburgh looks slightly less gaunt than he has done recently which is positive
The extremely handsome Charles Armstrong Jones and Arthur and Samuel Chatto are also tucked in there somewhere :-)
    Juist lovely all round!

  19. Just wondering……
The son of Edward and Sophie (James) hasn’t been seen amongst the royal family group during the festive holidays.
Maybe he's away studying or on some special training exercise or something. ??

Yes you can “sort of” see James in the background.
Maybe he overslept and got there late 😉.
Found a photo of him with his father on another site attending the church service.
He is now 6ft tall and taller than his father.
Like your comment you said about “Anon 19:56” being overcome with the spirit of the season.

  21. Let us not forget that the role of the Royal Family is to be BEYOND high fashion.
This is all about church going and nothing else so that, in my opinion at least, they are appropriately dressed and look just right.

  23. @ T. Why must a boy from the age of prince George wear a coat ? To make him look once again older than he is. Other boys of his age can wear a nice pair of trousers, a sweater and a warm winter jacket (parka). I know he is a prince but does that mean he must dress like in the old days ? If nobody change that, these young royals will always look like old men and old ladies. They are learned to look boring from their young age on. It is time that the younger generation of princes and princesses will look like other young people of their age. Even to go to a football match some of them must wear a suit. How crazy is that ?

    1. Personally, I love to see young children formally dressed on formal occasions. In the photos celebrating King Carl XVI Gustav's Golden Jubilee, all his little grandsons, except the baby were formally dressed in suits and ties. Likewise all the young boys of the extended Monaco royal family on National day, as well as Prince Jacques in his mini uniform. They look fab.

@Anonymous 27/12/23 17:24. The reason why I said I wish he had worn a coat had nothing to do with appearance, just that he looks cold in his suit jacket. Compared with everyone being in a coat for warmth, I just sort of felt sorry for him.
Sorry if that is a sore point for you.

  24. I love all the hats and coats.Princess Annne's hat is pretty elaborate.Good to see Prince Andrew there also Fergie;how does it go you take the stick out of your own eye ;and then you will see the speck in my eye.Christmas is about families together and forgiveness.Prince George looks great;pretty smart in his suit;if you practise doing something it becomes second nature. What do you mean the old days I fell over laughing;everything old is new again. Just because Mark Zukaberg lives in tshirts;that isn't fashion that is lazy.Just like scruffy kids at school it is cheaper to buy a schools uniform and good leather shoes;than sloppy track pants and Nike's.Obviously some people look great in a paper bag;good clothes lasts as Princess is a testement to that.(Tara)

  25. Rather unexciting. Quite repetitive and while most are elegant, wouldn’t say that about all. I applaud wholeheartedly Anne’s reuse of decades-old outfits. But her hat is borderline ridiculous (best left to Ascot or Cheltenham) and she has several beautiful hats she could have chosen.

Surprisingly Sarah had a very decent showing, appropriate and not trying to draw attention on herself

  26. What an array of different styles and colours.
PoW-Is there a colour that she can’t wear?!.The cut is exquisite. The royal blue is gorgeous, as are the sensible low heeled boots.
DoE-I like the coat, but as always with Sophie, the outfit is let down by poorly measured undergarments.
QC- The muted colours are a good choice, and match up perfectly with KC ‘Sandringham’ coat.
Lady Louise-This young lady has blossomed into a beautiful young woman. The blue and cream are a good choice.
Zara—Never disappoints. The festive green and cream headpiece are perfect.
PA-I love her feathered hat.Cream coat is lovely.
    Fergie-Will always be Fergie! 😂
The Royal ladies didn’t disappoint this Christmas!
Seeing the next generation of royals as in Mia and Louis & Charlotte is reminiscent of William and Zara back in the day! Bea
