    1. But neither Boss nor Herrera are high street.

    2. I think of high street fashion as H&M and Target! Here we have Boss and Herrera, definitely luxury labels. Do you fellow commenters also sometimes think … how we all would look with access to a personal dresser, endless fashion budget, plastic surgeon and makeup artist, hairdresser, masseuse, and professional photographer… with all due respect to these princesses who do such a marvellous job and are so in the spotlight … I think all of us would look absolutely ravishing too! But then again, isn’t it lovely to be natural and unknown and to pull on sweatpants and running shoes and not have to look perfected afterall?! - AnneLise

My morning uniform is usually dressing gown and jeans.
Then after midday I change to my track suit and trainers.
And I’m so pleased not to have to walk out the door each morning looking like a fashion model ready to walk down a catwalk with bloggers criticising me from left, right and centre.
I’ll leave that to the royal ladies.

  2. Letizia a su combiner ce chemisier rouge à une jupe imprimée de coquelicots bleu et rouge sur fond noir qui est plutôt à porter en période estivale ; bon choix que ses bottes à talons aiguilles dont je peux remarquer leur souplesse !

  3. The red top is beautiful I like the skirt but prefer the full skirted version shown on the model. Not a fan of the boots. A red, or even a black, court shoe would have set the outfit off perfectly imo

    1. I agree. Yesterday she wore black court shoes (without tights) and a white skirt under a black coat (t° in Spain around 22 ° C in December).
Today she is wearing inside the palace high boots (maybe also without tights, we cannot see that). Is it suddenly that cold in Madrid ? I don't like the skirt either. But that is because I never liked fabrics with big red flowers on black.

    2. Based on observation only, this palace with the pink brocade curtains and walls, and the huge rug on the floor is Not the same one where the king works. This is where the large gatherings are held. Meaning, that she had to travel into the city to attend this event. It's really pathetic to look for things to criticize based on poor observation skills.
Styling an outfit is the preference of the wearer.

    3. 22C in Spain? Are you mad? This is Europe. Where? 4C degrees this morning in Madrid and freezing and snow in some places..She does not live in that Palace, the palaces in Spain believe to the State, nobody lives there, they live in a House far away..

Maybe in the Canary Islands, 5000 miles ago??..between 4C and 10C today in Madrid....She is dropped off...so she does not need too much clothes...also.. fashion boots are not for the cold, there are women wearing boots even in summer.

    5. Well it is exactly the same that a lot of bloggers are saying when Queen Camilla is wearing boots inside. But in the U.K. it is probably much colder in December than in Spain.

    6. @10:32 These are fashion boots, and are being worn correctly.

    7. Not mad at all I read it in article of a news paper which said today in Madrid 22° C. And that is just a couple of days ago. The weather forecast must be a joke then. I can only tell you what I read.

  6. Anonymous @22:28. Although boots were definitely an item to combat the cold & rain, specially those with fur and thick soles, I don’t think that nowadays that is their only purpose, they’ve become a fashion footwear, and as soon as the calendar hits October, millions of women can’t wait to put them on ( I include myself amongst them :-))
