On December 18, 2023, Swedish Queen Silvia and her grandchildren Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel, Prince Julian, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas and Princess Adrienne received this year's Christmas trees for the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
According to a tradition, the Christmas trees were presented by forestry programme students from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) located in Umea. Since the 1960s, SLU students have been delivering Christmas trees to the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

How nice to see all the cousins together participating in a fun activity. These are precious moments indeed, and Q.Sylvia must be so happy to be surrounded by all her grandchildren.

ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia must be very happy to be surrounded by all her grandchildren. I particularly like Princess Estelle's dress and also the children of Princess Sofia all dressed in the same little jacket. But they are all dressed very lovely including the queen herself. I like her cosy warm Winter jacket.

ReplyDeleteKinder sind Kinder : ) sie sehen alle so kindgerecht gekleidet und fröhlich aus. Gut gekleidet gefallen mir besonders die Mädchen von Prinzessin Madeleine. Ein Buch wäre sicher spannend in dem berichtet wird, wie all die Königshäuser, Fürstenhäuser das mit ihrer Einkleidung erledigen. Wer wird sie wohl beraten, das würde mich brennend interessieren, schlüpfen sie manchmal vielleicht wirklich nur in "geplante" Kleidung wie ein Mannequin während einem Durchlauf bei einer Show? Das würde vielleicht auch so manche Outfits erklären die ab und an nicht so wirklich Begeisterung bei den Kommentierenden sind. ?! Eine spannende und fröhliche Weihnachtszeit ; ) -Dorothe-

ReplyDeleteThe Swedish Royal children are enchanting!! All so well dressed, I especially love Princess Leonore and Princess Adrienne's outfits! Very cute skirt and paired so well with the gray & pink jacket and pink tights.

Isn’t she the loveliest queen and grandmother of them all? No difference given to status and place in line. Truly a great lady. King Charles could learn from her.
