The Hereditary Grand Duke family shared new family photos to mark the end of 2023. The Grand Duke family sent a new year greeting and also shared some photos of the important moments of 2023. The photos show Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie and their children Prince Charles and Prince Francois.

I think there is a good chance as they both come from big families.
Princess Stephany is one of 8 children and Prince Guillaume is one of 5 children.
However in both families there appears to be a predominance of males.
Prince Guillaume has three brothers and one sister.
Princess Stephanie has 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
So a girl or two would help balance the male, female ratio.
If my mathematics are right, in the families of Stephanie and Guillaume there are 8 boys and 4 girls.
Opps, fashion. They all look fabulous in their off duty fashion woolies.

Mathematics wasn't the best subject for me at school, you know.
So let me have another go …….
On Stephanie’s side there are 4 boys and 4 girls, including Stephanie. Total of 8 children.
On Guillaume’s side there are 4 boys, including Guillaume and one girl. Total of 5 children.
A total of 13 children, including Stephanie and Guillaume.
Together that makes up 5 girls and 8 boys, if my maths are right.
Hope I’ve got it right this time, otherwise I’m going to give up.
NOTE: Princess Stephanie is the baby of the family. She is the youngest of the 8 children.
NOTE: All of Stephanie’s brothers and sisters are Counts and Countesses. Between them and including Stephanie, they have about 23 children. One of her sisters is a nun.
Stephanie before her marriage was known as Countess Stéphanie Marie Claudine Christine de Lannoy.
Opps again ….. Fashion ….. Can’t work out if Prince Guillaume is wearing a woolly cardigan or pullover.
