  5. Cheveux raccourcis coiffés d'un semblant de queue de cheval, tenue élégante, tout cela est parfait avec les boucles d'oreilles pendantes dont la couleur est la même que sa robe !

This look was almost magnificent. Unfortunately, the extraordinarily wrinkled bodice/cape and the hair pulled back into an everyday scrunchie detracted from an otherwise elegant look. How on earth did all of those wrinkles/creases get into the fabric when the design lays flat?

I agree- definitely a French twist no scrunchie would have been better with such a sophisticated back. Great color on the Duchess as well. I also felt it missed with both the wide swag and the wide sleeves, pick one or the other- swag/thin or no sleeves or no swag/wide sleeves. As for the wrinkles, wow. My guess is perhaps she tried to push the swag up closer to the neck for a scarf-like look and realized the v-seam and put it back.

The duchess of Edinburgh is such a beautiful woman.
The blue dress suits her very well and enhances her blue eyes and blond hair,

Beautiful navy dress which complements the Duchess well. Such a different and interesting style, and quite elegant. MR

  9. She might be my favourite royal (of the BRF). I can relate to her the most, perhaps because we belong to the same generation. Her fashion choices are not always top notch, but that makes her even more likeable. This time around it seems she did a great job with her outfit. Thumbs up!

Sophie is lovely as usual, wish there had been photos of her full length, to see the rest of the outfit she wore to this occasion. Anne

Sophie has a tendency to wear overly long skirts/dresses. Though we can't see the full length of this dress,I'm hoping it's maybe knee length and flattering.
Shame she left the hair scrunchie in. There's so many hair accessories on the market that she could of used. Bea
