On September 27-28, 2023, Queen Silvia of Sweden visited Warsaw, the capital of Poland, together with the executives of The World Childhood Foundation, of which the Queen is honorary president. The purpose of the visit was to receive more information about the challenges that The World Childhood Foundation's Ukrainian partners are currently facing. The Foundation has worked in Ukraine for 20 years.
The Queen's visit brought together the Foundation's 9 Ukrainian partners in Warsaw for talks and exchange of experience and knowledge. In addition to participating in meetings with the Ukrainian organizations, the Queen and the delegation also visited 2 Polish partners of the Foundation, which provide support to children and families from Ukraine.
