On September 24, 2023, Queen Margrethe of Denmark visited Hørsholm Church on the occasion of the church's 200th anniversary. Hørsholm is a municipality in the northern part of the island of Zealand. Upon arrival at the church, the Queen was welcomed by Bishop Peter Birch. Hørsholm Church is located to the site of demolished Hirschholm Palace (Hørsholm Palace). In 1822-23 a small church designed by architect Christian Frederik Hansen was built on the grounds of the demolished palace.

ردحذفOften I've made remarks about hats not suiting QM, but this one is one of the best hats she's ever been wearing! The hat is quirky and not to small nor too big in a colour that wears the queen well. Overall a splendid look by QM today!

ردحذفHM Q Margrethe’s and the other ladies’ dresses’ colors are very “garden party” - love that! The suit fits the Queen really well and the patterned blouse elevates the look so much compared to what it would have been with a solid blouse.

From head to toe, she looks like a Queen. The fit of the suit, the great hat, the gloves, bag and brooch. All of it is just right!
ردحذفBeautiful color and good looking ensemble. I love her handbag. The shoes look old and very narrow. I wonder if she can walk easily with such a type of shoe. No reactions concerning the gloves. Only some queens receive bad comments if they wear gloves, but we are getting used to that, the same for the outfits. Rose
