Oh, do we have a squaddie in our midst? No hun, the POW looks absolutely fabulous, classy, chic, as always. Her clothes fit, are demure, are adapted to her role and position. Unlike the ones of…. you know who.

When the Wales' attend sporting events, they dress this way. Even George and Charlotte dress more formally. It has to do with their seating (think royal box and the like), who they are seated with, and their position. There have been times, like during the Olympics, that they held no position and were ordinary fans. They were dressed down and sitting amongst the other fans. I loved their reactions and wonder if they miss those times. I would imagine George, Charlotte, and Louis will one day have the freedom to attend events as regular fans, but for now, it is formal and with their parents.

Will you look at where she is seated, with rugby officials and politicians wearing suit and tie! It would not be appropriate to sit there in jeans and t-shirt. How can you say that a pantsuit is overdressed among men in suits??

In addition, Kate has a certain position, she is not just there for herself, she represents the royal family and the United Kingdom as a country as well. People expect to see a princess dressed up to par. When Tara from this discussion or A. or someone unknown goes to the match, feel free to wear a T-shirt and jeans, no one will care - you will not be written about the next day, paparazzi cameras or ordinary curious people will not focus on you.

These pantsuits have an incredibly good cut and shape the figure perfectly. I invested in such a red one (I was inspired by Kate wearing that at the coronation concert) and everyone compliments my choice when I wear it.

DeleteQueen Letizia of Spain wore a trouser suit to the World Cup final in Australia. Princess Kate is a typical English Rose and is not overdressed, but very appropriately dressed.

DeleteAre you really starting up the tan debate again? Such an unnecessary comment. Most likely you are unable to get a tan yourself so you have a problem with women that tan easily -- purely speculation of course. Kate looks beautiful. I don't notice anything different about her skin tone.

to P. Original: I think EVERY person from EVERY royal family written about on this blog can afford a Caribbean vacation. And besides, many other celebrities, athletes. In my experience, it can be beautifully obtained in the mountains and in nature, for example in Scotland, where Kate spent her holidays with the children in the family's royal residence. In addition, the UK has been hit with hot weather, so anyone who moves a lot outside can get a healthy tan like hers.

DeleteThe best I can get is sitting beside my hubby whilst he does fishing, listening to horse races on his little transitor, looking at a muddy river and chasing the flies away from his fishing bait. Plus slapping cream on my sunburn.
But as you know P.the original, I never complain and never explain.
I think it’s more to do with heavy make up. She looks tanned all year long.
