On September 9, 2023, Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, Crown Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella, Charlotte Casiraghi, Dimitri Rassam, Balthazar Rassam, Raphael Elmaleh and Melanie-Antoinette de Massy participated in the traditional end-of-Summer Picnic (U Cavagnetu) events, held at the Princess Antoinette Park in Monaco.
This event, organised by the Municipality of Monaco, marks the end of summer. Open to all inhabitants of Monaco, the annual open-air event began as a city hall initiative in 1931.

I think that Charlene has lots of other options in her closet for a picnic. This outfit does not flatter her at all. Not the style, not the colour.

ReplyDeleteAgree on the note regarding the ladies outfits. Charlene’s top is plain awful (sorry) and that black skirt is not helping. I do think she has made much better choices earlier this week. Charlotte can pretty much wear anything but this is not Chanel’s best and finest.

DeleteP Charlene looks very covered up. I don't like the print on the Etro shirt. I think she is wearing the same navy, wide pleated pants she wore a few weeks ago. They are very nice but need a more fitted top. Charlotte dress is very nice and summery.

This time it is a no from me, why ? too dark, too bulky, cannot really see anything attractive about her outfit, except her smile. Not a big fan about Charlotte's either, but I would give it higher marks.

ReplyDeleteTo my surprise, I find myself liking the Chanel outfit worn by Charlotte Casiraghi, usually they are too OTT for me. If Princess Charlene had teamed the shirt with a pair of white trousers, for example, it might have been okay but this is not a great look. The children are all cute.

ReplyDeleteI don´t like what Charlene´s wearing. A bit boring, dark, heavy, unflattering. But not as tasteless as Charlotte´s choice. I assume Charlotte wanted something by Chanel, so maybe she chose the "best" there was? Judging by the runway photos, it´s a horrid collection. Outfit, shoes, styling, make-up - all hideous.
ReplyDeleteI really don't know why Charlene does not colour her hair in her natural colour. Quite blond. Look at old pictures, she is a natural beauty. This dark hair looks imv too hard in her face.

ReplyDeleteI do like this this top on HSH P Charlene and think it’s a nice transitional piece for early Autumn. That said, I just don’t care for how it’s styled here; the skirt worn is too full with the fullness of the top. I think slim trousers in a color to match one of the colors in the print of the top would have been really pretty. But, this does not seem to have been a trousers type of event - all the ladies are in skirts. So maybe a knee-length slim skirt in pink or green?

Not a fan of Charlene's fashion here but love that she looks so relaxed. The photos of her are wonderful. She is looking radiant--especially in the photo of her holding the little girl.
