Love her dress, hair and make-up. And I'm even more loving the fact that she loves those shoes, they are fabulous!

  2. This gown looks very flattering and attractive. The Queen looks very elegant. I love her strappy shoes, they blend well with the style of the gown. The color is pretty. Her hair up, looks fabulous. Her makeup is natural. A beautiful Queen.

A lovely colour and gown on Mathilde. I like that she has not worn any neck jewellery this time.

I never thought in a thousand years that I would say this, but I actually prefer the original Natan design on the model.

@Aloise, are you sure they changed the gown? Because models pose and drape in a completely different (and mostly unnatural) way? (GM)

Perfection from hair style to shoes! Love the color on the Queen, and the hair style makes her look 10 yrs younger and so refined. MR

  7. If I owned this dress, I’d keep it exclusively to wear for a night at the opera.
I’d also keep the red shoes as worn by the model.
Otherwise, I think the dress has very limited choices for other occasions.
Both the King and the Queen look smashing.

@Deadeggs. You could call this dress her "music dress". She wore it for the first time in July 2020 for the yearly Preludium concert the night before the National Day. The second time in May 2021 for the Queen Elisabeth Music Contest. And the third time, yesterday to go to the opera in Ghent. Rose

    2. O.K. Rose. Let's go for it and give it the name of MMD - Mathidle''s Music Dress 😀

Excellent hair, adorable shoes, and it could be a really beautiful gown without that too dramatic fabric overflow, hiding much of Mathilde and the gown itself. Sorry, I see no other detectable aesthetic advantage in that cape. (GM)

  9. Cette robe fuschia illumine son look surtout avec les chaussures très bien choisies que je pense bien coordonnées avec son clutch !

It occurred to me that Queen Mathilde's dress, when she worn it for the first time (last picture next to the model), was wider than today. I think there was more fabric in the original dress. I love her with those Roman sandals. I forgot the brand of the sandals. Could it be Prada ? or are they by Armani ? Rose

beautiful color and a lovely flow to the dress. Suits the Queen very well. I am not a great fan of straps on shoes and I think the red ones on the model look better.
