This year, King Carl Gustaf's 50 years as Sweden's head of state is being celebrated in the country. The King ascended the throne on 15 September 1973 and has been Sweden's longest-reigning monarch of all time. As part of the celebrations, the King and Queen Silvia are visiting Sweden's 21 counties this year.
On September 7, the King and Queen visited Värmland county and the city of Karlstad. Upon arrival at the county, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia were welcomed by Governor Georg Andrén and his wife My Andrén. This became the last county visit of the royal couple during the 50th anniversary.

ReplyDeleteJ'aime la couleur turquoise et la couleur sied bien à la Reine Silvia, cependant je ne peux dire s'il s'agit de la coupe ou du style du veston mais je le trouve un peu grand. De toute façon la Reine Silvia est très élégante comme d'habitude.

ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia is as smart as always but the colour of the jacket washes her out. The nice dress with a brighter jacket would have been better.
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia looks lovely, her white jacket is a lovely design, I love the length. The blonde lady looks very elegant, her floral fitted jacket looks beautiful, I like this very much.
