  1. Quelles jolies lignes dans cette robe mais un décolleté en V aurait donné encore plus d'allure !

Her hands look like they are from a 70 year old woman. Most women do not realise that having long nails make you look older, so short nails are prefered if you do not want to look old(er).

What are you talking about? Have you never seen long nails? I would consider those on the shorter side. I have never heard such a thing. Did you just need to be mean?

My hands look like hers. I am of course older than she is, but I have it since I was much younger. It depends from one person to another. I have exactly the same hands like my late father. He worked with his hands his whole life. I worked as a secretary but in my free time I also worked with my hands, in my garden and my household. It has nothing to do with age. Some people have more fat on their hands. Their veins are not visible. One day I decided to use pale nail polish. If you wear dark colors or bright colors your hands are more visible. Rose

...and this idea sounds like kinda of being generated by an old mindset...
I'm not surprised in the least, though.

    4. What has my comment to do with being mean?! It is just an opinion. And I am not talking about the veins of the hands, just about the nails. They are awful, cheap looking.

@Anon 23:26: How nice for you to find something for your venomous and agism. I wish you a lot of young Anons with your mindset around you when you will be old. But take care to hold up your hands in case those veins begin showing.

@Iris, your reading recommendation says: "how to avoid old lady hands". Do you notice at all, what this says? It says clearly and unmistakably: old=ugly, avoid it by all means. It's a shame and it's a shame to recommend it. (GM)

    7. Could there be a link to Princess Mary always "hitting the nail on the head" and the veins in her hand? Just wondering 😀

      Dear @ Deadeggs 👍
I do not know but there so many articles and pics about Mary and her faultless fashion sense.
I am wandering if there is a link "old hypocondriac and envious woman always complaining about royal ladies and womens' beauty, fashion choices and clothes colours in general , including their hand veins and imaginary feet issues"?
      😅😉

It's indeed a very stylish and elegant dress. But why black at a very festive ceremony

Maybe you could explain what you find objectionable about black. We all know black is not just for mourning, so why are you bothered?

Yes, of course I’ve also noticed that blondish, handsome man holding the trophy. Quite yummy ….no?
Pity he’s not a prince as if he were, I’d certainly cut and paste his photo in my scrapbook of handsome princes.😁
