A lovely mix of traditional and western styles all round.
The silks and the colours are simply splendid.

Yes indeed! I love the kimono, and every example of the ĂĄo dĂ i. Long live traditional differences in dress … so much more interesting than globalised fashion!

Beautiful gowns and such a nice balance of tradition and modernity. Lovely to see these - and not just because of the remarkable fashion, but rather because of the beautiful example of putting the past behind and building a great relationship between the countries.

  4. Good to see the Japanese Imperial Family again on here. I'm also glad to see a traditional kimono worn again for the reception indoors. Always makes for a spectacular look.

Very nice Kimono worn by Pss Kiko., also a great suit by her, at the arrival, in Hanoi. Already a 50-year Diplomatic relationship between the two Countries. All under the watchful eye of Ho Chi Minh. Hope their visit was a success, for both Countries. css

Both Princess Kiko’s suits are smart, especially the blue one. Love the jewel brights of the Vietnamese ladies, especially the gorgeous red gown in the first couple of pics

Nice change from baggy pants and uneven hems.
