On August 18, 2023, Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended an anniversary event at Gripsholm Castle on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the election of King Gustav Vasa. This year is the 500th anniversary of Gustav Vasa's election as king of Sweden at the parliamentary session in Strangnäs on 6 June 1523, and the Vasa jubilee is being celebrated in 2023 with talks and a series of concerts.

    Jamais déçue par la reine Silvia quand elle est vêtue d'un tailleur/jupe ; dans son dressing, elle doit avoir un grand choix de couleurs qu'elle sait harmoniser avec les accessoires et bijoux correspondants !

    Queen Silvia looks beautiful in this bright pink suit. Tailored and business like but so cheery. Neutral but luxe accessories. I also like the blanket wrap, so chic.

    Queen Silvia in one of her other lovely outfits. She is faithful to what she likes: colors, more or less the same cut for each of her ensembles, her Kelly bag which she has probably for ages. Classic but with good taste never looking old fashion. This proves that classic clothes which are bought today are more beautiful than classic clothes which are made in the 60.ties or 70.tees. Rose

    It looks to me like Silvia is in Chanel. The suit could be modernized by doing away with the ruffle at the neck. She naturally pairs it with a Chanel bag for a cohesive look. This bright pink always looks beautiful on her.
