When Queen Margrethe of Denmark stays at Graasten Castle, the Royal Guards carry out a shift change every Friday in the castle courtyard. This Friday's changing of the guards was attended by Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte, who are currently staying at the Graasten Castle. A small concert is also given by the Music and Drum Corps of the Royal Guards in the courtyard after changing of the guards.
They both look lovely, perfect for a summer vacation. I like how the Queen's shoes match Benedikte's blouse.

DeleteMarvleous to see the sisters enjoying the summer holidays together--hope Anne Marie can join them. Benedikte looks great in the shade of blue--and elegant as always. QM is very casually dressed--not sure I have ever seen her so dressed down. She is looking quite relaxed and I always like her in pink as it is so flattering to her. She is also without her a cane--perhaps she is continuing to improve from her surgery. Hope to see more family pictures released later--have always enjoyed the big family photo shoot held in the summer.

The two sisters are dressed casually and comfortably for a summers day at home. Q. Margarethe's shoes even pickup the colour of P. Benedickte's blouse, for an unintentional yet pleasing effect.
