On July 13, 2023, King Charles and Queen Camilla visited St Ives and St Columb Major in Cornwall. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Tate St Ives, the King and Queen visited the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, which is maintained by Tate. The King and Queen then visited St Ives Harbour. Afterwards, the Queen visited The Women’s Centre Cornwall near Bodmin.
One would think Camilla could find a dressmaker who could provide her with a selection of styles that fit her and not keep repeating the same house-dress type style, or the zippered long lined styles and stay away from the way too small busy prints that just add to the house-dress sort of look and feel.

حذفWe've had enough of Angela Kelly's dated styles for a monarch who belonged to a very dated era. It worked then, but not now. Time to move forward to modern dress styles and a modern monarchy, or they won't be around for very long.

When you get to her age one gets comfortable with the same style; hair or dresses. We have seen similar in other monarchs. Her happiness is what counts
حذفFor me, Angela Kelly is a very intellegent stylist/dressmaker.
حذفI think before the sewing machine gets underway, she spends a lot of time with her client studying their morphology and what the end product will look like. Her skill has been with mature clients and not the clients who frequented stylists like Vivienne Westwood and Company.
Vivienne Westwood was a creator of sensation and the wow look.
I think Angela Kelly knows her fabrics well and has a good contact with her suppliers. She is a good colourist.
I’m sure Mrs Kelly could help Camilla to find her way in the world of fashion.
I actually like what the Queen is wearing. It suits her. Why change something that’s working.

This is a repeat and I liked it the previous time or times as much as I do now. Nice flowy fabric, very good fit, it lends her a nice waistline, 3/4 sleeves are good and I also like the non-flowery small pattern and the colour combination with this shade of green. Shoes and bag also well chosen.

ردحذفI'm liking Camilla's choices to re-wear dresses that she is comfortable in and that are not fussy or excessive. Most importantly, these outfits normalise her to the everyday people she meets when the situation calls for it of course.

NO matter what Camilla wears.The haters would find fault. SHE LOOKS GREAT in her style of dress. She does not need comparison with anyone. She does not need Angela Kelly. Good luck in not bowing to the haters.

I like the colour, shape and pattern of the dress it suits her. This is for lack of a better word, her working uniform as was the dress and coat outfits of QE.
ردحذفI have nothing against Queen Camilla’s modest approach to her sartorial performance but she should adopt a more elegant style that meets the expectations of the public. To put it bluntly, if she looks like a well-dressed lady going to town to meet her friends for tea, there is nothing to make her “special”.

This is a nice, simple, clear cut dress, its serviceable and the Queen looks comfortable wearing it.
