When Queen Margrethe stays at Graasten Castle, the Royal Guards carry out a shift change every Friday in the castle courtyard and the changing of the guard ends with a concert in the castle courtyard. On Friday July 28, 2023, Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte attended the changing of the Royal Guards at Graasten Castle.

DeleteLove the bright yellow dress on the Queen complete with her daisy pin. And Princess Benedikte always looks so classy and elegant. The turquoise jacket and coral dress are very pretty together.

Where are the other members of the family? This year no one wants to join the Queen and her sister at Graston. Hope this yearly gathering has not ended. It was always nice to see the family together. We would also get a peek at the little Prince. The son of Gustav and Corrina.. The Q looks lovely so does Benedikte. Josebabe
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised that her sons and their wives went on vacation somewhere else. After all the pain she causes by degrading her grandchildren (the children of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie). In other countries brothers and sisters of the king/or the heir to the throne do not belong to the royal house either. They have a job but they can keep their title of prince and/or princess.

ReplyDeleteBetter replace the big belt by a thin one. This one is putting to much the accent on her hip/back problem (or whatever it is she is suffering from). Otherwise she looks great in her yellow summery outfit. Rose
ReplyDeleteLovely fresh summery look for both ladies. The sweater is okay, its the shoes on the princess that throws the outfit off. Maybe with just the dress it blends better. Nevertheless I love seeing royals dresses in a relaxing manner.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen needs to wear a slip, or a longer one, if she has one on. Do not like the sister's shoes, too jarring with the sweater and dress.
