Not the prettiest of dresses for me, and I think it could have been a little longer by an inch or two. It is very fitted as well, but this looks good on Mathilde.

The dress is knee length, I don't think it need to be longer. Queen Mathilde looks elegant.

Everyone looks lovely. I especially like the statues, those are really well made and they're true lookalikes (which isn't always the case).

The red shoes are a very good addition to the soft-coloured nice dress.
I think the statues are very good.

  4. Personally I find this dress alo't better close up than from a distance, the pattern of the fabric, especially. Love the red accessories.

Woow! The busts are very well made with sophisticated details (the Queen’s hair style and the King’s outfit!).

I donat like the print. Feels like staring eyes. Otherwise it looks good, nice fit and love the red shoes and handbag.

These two Statues of the King and Queen never get old, how nice it must be always looking the same. No wrinkles or sagging, of skin ha ha. I don't care to much for this dress. Happy 4th of July everyone. css

@Anon 9:13 It is one of Queen Mathilde's older dresses. Dresses were shorter then. I admire her for recycling her older dresses. Normally you will see her in a new dress on the 21st of this month when it is Belgium's National Day.

@Rose: Thank you for that information. I suspected that it was one of her older dresses due to the sizing and fit. However like you, I applaud Q.Mathilde for re-wearing/recycling an older dress and getting more use from it. I'm all for that 100%

Nice dress but needs a different neckline. Also, a missed opportunity to go for some red lipstick.

I like the dress and it works with the red touch of accessories. I find her statute to resemble her person better than the king one.
Really like the pictures when she is looking at "him" she seems amused

The bust of the King does not look like him, especially around the nose and mouth area. The Queens' bust, looks very nice. However the dress she wore had an odd pattern and was too short, especially when she was seated. Gemma

  13. Belle silhouette mais avec quelques centimètres plus longue, la robe ajustée serait mieux équilibrée par rapport au haut. J'ai essayé de mieux voir ses boucles d'oreilles, c'est manqué !
