On June 6, Sweden's National Day and Swedish Flag Day are celebrated. The 2023 national day also marks Sweden's 500 years as an independent nation. The royal family celebrates this year's national day in Strängnäs and in Stockholm. National Day 2023 celebrations began with an opening ceremony at the Royal Palace.
Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar opened the Royal Palace gates, and Prince Carl Philip attended the changing of the guard in the Outer Courtyard. King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the national day celebration in Strangnas. In the evening, the Royal Family will take part in the celebrations at Skansen.
Beautiful yellow coat with matching dress and hat for the Queen. She looks fabulous. I think I would choose something other but that is a minor complaint. than black accessories.

The CP family again looks wonderful. Thinking Oscar is not thrilled to be taking part--probably wishing he could get out of his suit and tie and go play. Love Estelle's yellow and blue hair ribbons. Meanwhile, Silvia is gorgeous in her very elegant yellow ensemble--perfect pillbox hat. Together, she and the King are wearing Sweden's national colors.

ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia looks fabulous. The yellow coat and dress look beautiful. The yellow color is a lovely shade. The black accessories are excellent well coordinated, looking stylish. The pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings are beautiful, wonderful choice. I do love the pearl and gold brooch, this looks splendid against her yellow coat. She looks very elegant.
