Sonja looks good in this outfit. Especially the jacket with laser cutout is modern and fresh. That's why I feel that the jewelery around her neck is to heavy for this outfit

Sonja la mia regina preferita, perché indossa questa brutta mantella sopra un buon outfit dai colori estivi?

Love QS but that necklace! Her blue and white outfit is beautiful--the top/jacket is very pretty. But that necklace--hopefully she'll chose something different the next time out. Her cape is interesting--guess is was cool or even rainy. For some reason it reminds of a clerical robe--maybe its the length.

At first glance I thought the Queen was wearing earphones around her neck! Her outfit is charming anyway….

  5. Les couleurs bleue et blanche conviennent bien à la Reine Sonja ; grand contraste avec la jeune femme blonde vêtue d'un pantalon à jambes larges combiné avec un superbe corsage à imprimé de grosses fleurs !

After looking more closely to QS necklace, I see it is more of an art piece, which is totally appropriate for the occasion. Perhaps it looks better in person so the details of the design work are seen. I like green pant and blouse very much. I would like that rain cape, covers the legs well.

  7. What a great example of how an 86 year old woman can look chic and stylish.
Queen Sonja loves to play with ‘offbeat’ jewelry’.

Great look for the Queen. I wish I was as active as she is with 86 years of age. I have not reached her age. Let me say she is fantastic. css

For those who find Queen Sonja’s necklace too chunky or “she could do better the next time” etc., please note that she is probably wearing design jewellery that she received as a gift, i.e. an act of courtesy. I read that this is royal custom and I remember Queen Elizabeth often wore gifted brooches.

Love the outfit, and the neck scarf with whatever is entwined in it. Not fond of the cape she wore outdoors, but very chic outfit for a lovely Queen.
