King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway arrived in Aarhus by the Royal Yacht Norge on the 2nd day of their visit to Denmark. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary welcomed the King and Queen at the port in Aarhus before attending a conference titled “Norway and Denmark – Stronger Together for a Green Future.”
Then, King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary met with Norwegian students studying in Denmark at Havnepladsen. Thereafter, they attended an official lunch at Aarhus City Hall. After the lunch, the four royals attended the LiteratureXchange on DOKK1.
ERDEM Narella Hogarth Print Pleated Chiffon Dress
Everyone is wearing Erdem, it would seem :)
ReplyDeleteLike Mathilde's Erdem dress, I like CP Mary's dress as well. Mary's dress is slightly more formal than Mathilde's, with a fuller print pattern and more pleated embellishment, but Mary wears it well. I even like her head band.
It seems the Q. Sonja wore 2 outfits during the day. I like the orange suit. The eyelet jacket over her yellow dress would look better if it had a more streamlined fit. The dark necklace seems out of place.
Still so nice to see the King and Queen with the Crown Prince and Princess. All 4 of them are lovely...as well as Q. Margarethe.

I wonder if Mary would have chosen this dress if it had been another less known label.
ReplyDeleteQueen Sonja wins for me. That orange suit is quiet perfection, her resistance to fashionable length makes it so pretty, good proportions, hat, jewelry, shades, everything good. - I don't like Mary's Erdem, was looking for a detail I like but to no avail.

Queen Sonia looks super elegant descending from the yacht! Don't like the Erdem dress CP Mary is wearing. Too frilly for me.

J aime la robe de Mary, je la préfère à la précédente

This Erdem is very busy…small floral print, micro pleating on the top and skirt, ruffles everywhere. This dress is aging and has too much going on in my opinion. Looking forward to leaving all the midi floral dresses behind!
ReplyDeleteGreat look for all the RL. It sadly shown lots of pics of the fall of King Herold. There should have been an easier way to help him get of the Ship. I see he is doing fine Thank God. Hope it is a great visit for everyone. css
ReplyDeleteYes, those stairs aren't easy, even when you're younger than 86. They all look great indeed, especially Queen Sonja in the yellow and white. I wish there was a good picture of the whole outfit, she looks fabulous. I was curious about her age: she's 85! I thought she was 10 years younger. Very inspirational.
DeleteI love the erdem dresses we have been seeing. I wish there was an affordable similar range.
ReplyDeleteQueen Sonia’s outfit wins for me. Lovely coral color, fits her well and she styles it nicely. I like the color and pattern of Mary’s dress but could do without the shoulder ruffles and high neck. Just my opinion but her makeup looks rather heavy but overall she looks good.
ReplyDeleteQueen Sonja looks particularly lovely in this orange suit, nice design, fits well she looks very smart.
ReplyDeleteCP Mary looks pretty but this dress looks a bit mature looking, regardless it is pretty and I like the pleating format. The colors are pretty.
I don't like CP Mary's new Erdem dress. I prefer Queen Mathilde's old Erdem Dress.
ReplyDeleteI love C.P. Mary's dress, I just wish it was pink. Then it would be perfect. But the STAR of the show is Q. Sonja. Wow, the "chic" just oozes out of her.
ReplyDeleteWonderful chic looks from Queen Sonja--she really looks great in both outfits. Mary looks beautiful--her Erdem dress is lovely and so feminine.

Well Mary the Queen knock your socks of here. To be polite I wouldn't have bought that dress.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!!XXOO
