On June 30, 2023, the Dutch royal family held a photo session on the occasion of 2023 summer holiday at the Zuiderstrand in The Hague. King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, Crown Princess Amalia, Princess Alexia, Princess Ariane and their dog Mambo were present at the photo session. Zuiderstrand is a beach of The Hague and among the city's residents, it is also known as the Quiet Beach.
Traditionally, Dutch royals pose for photos once in the summer and again at the beginning of their skiing holiday, and in return, the media respects their privacy except royal engagements. Queen Maxima is wearing a white crop top and maxi-skirt by Tory Burch. Princess Ariane is wearing a blouse by Ba&Sh.

What a lovely photoshoot. Despite the wind, everyone looks happy and summery. My favourite is Maxima, perfect beach outfit and great hair. But they all look lovely!
ردحذفI love this family but these photos are strange. The King and Queen look fantastic, but the girls’ outfits are a bit too summer casual for a formal photo call in my opinion. They are young and should look fresh and fashionable, but these are clothes you throw on for a last minute walk on the beach.

حذفClothes don't have to match the setting. Where do you come up with this stuff? A beach shoot could be done with nudes, a bride and groom, or anything in between. This is a family and each member is expressing their individual style at this moment in time. I much prefer this to overly styled, matchy-matchy family portraits.
حذفThis was in my comment on the recent birthday photos of Princess Alexia: "Would it have been better to show her somewhere in nature, like on a wide Northsea Beach, laughing, being jolly? Perhaps." Well, it seems they have taken heed to my advice. And contrary to Anon19.25 (I still don't get why people can't give a name on their comments; for God's sake pick a fake one if need be!) I think they are all dressed perfectly for the occasion. A walk on the beach, exactly.
ردحذفThere is a glitch on some devices so that you can’t enter your name and you need to remember to add it at the end. No idea why. On my desk top it is no issue, on my iPad it’s impossible to enter a name when you start your comment. If anyone knows how to overcome this, I, for one, would be grateful

ردحذفYes, same observation here, re Amalia. They make these family photos at the beginning of their summer vacation, during which they are taboo for photographs. Each year it is somewhere else. These photos are excellent, so natural looking as possible for an arranged photoshoot. They all look so good. (GM)

حذفGreat family photos!!! Love the beach setting--the photos are wonderful despite the wind. Maxima is beautifully dressed--what a pretty dress for the summer. The 3 princesses are dressed just as I see other girls their age. I think each looks marvelous for a family photo shoot on the beach--they are 3 pretty girls. The photo of WA with Alexia is so sweet!

Great photos. I think they are all dressed appropriately for the setting. I love Maxima's top and skirt. I can't help but smile that she is holding the dog leash in the photos. Pale yellow suits Amalia's coloring.

Nice to see them all together again. I like all the outfits, except Alexis pants it just hangs on her, not a nice fit. She is definitely, a young adult. She has changed a lot. I like Amalias combination. Nice and safe outfit. Arianas blouse is lovely and so is she. What a nice family. css

ردحذفI love the overall theme of this shoot-casual, on the beach. Some lovely family interactions. Maxima looks absolutely beautiful here, and the photo of her and WA is my favorite of all of them. Amalia also looks fantastic dressed casually, the yellow blazer is very flattering.l, probably the best I've seen of her in awhile. I find Alexia's purse strange, and her pants way too big, but she looks quite pretty here. And that green on Ariane is lovely. The cute pup absolutely wins the day :)

Je ne suis pas d'accord quand je lis "trop formelles" pour ces photos à la plage ; toute la famille est bien belle, décontractée, chacune dans son style ; ma journée est illuminée quand je vois leur adorable toutou qui a l'air très vif !
