Good coat and dress. Catherine wears it well.

As nice as the Princess looks with this winning combination, I find the outfit too formal for a ride on the subway and a pub visit, she looks so much more contemporary when she dresses like a woman her age. The white shoes a little much for public transport.

Fully agree with your comment, Cherry; there are different forms of 'over the top' and to me this is one for a pub visit and a ride on the subway

Yes ridiculous choice of outfit to go to the pub / take the subway! 😵‍💫 more suitable for a wedding …

Not fond of this combination, although the colours and handbag and shoes are fine. The length of the coat doesn't go with this dress, for me. It's great to see them having so much fun. I can't wait for the next days fashionwise...

  4. Elegant and stately as always. Nearly all clothes show up at their optimum on her long, lean figure complimented by good posture.

Me too! We will have to stick to watch BBC tomorrow. As of today i saw so many videos incoming on TikTok about London, the decorations, the flowers. It’s gonna be a historic day and will be remembered well. I hope everything goes smoothly, safe and stately as planned.
Can’t wait to see the formal attire of all our Royals. Will everyone wear tiaras tomorrow?
Wishing you all a great coronation day :-)

I like the red coat very much, with the white dress showing underneath as she walks. I'd have preferred black shoes though. Just me.

Perfect ensemble for a cloudy day in crowded London. It's smart of the PofW to follow QEII's lead of wearing primary/block colors to be seen more easily. I would have loved to see the dress underneath - I bet Catherine gives off a very 1940s vibe in it. (My favorite fashion era)

A white summer dress with a red coat and white accessories? How awful! Irene

Beautiful look--like the coat paired with the dress! Nice to see the dress again too as I loved it when Catherine wore it to Wimblemdom. I have one pet peeve--I don't like white dress shoes unless they are worn with a bridal gown. So wish she had chosen another pair of shoes. The neckline of the coat is such a beautiful detail. I miss seeing a stunning brooch on coats--the Queen understood how they finish an outfit and I see CP Mary of Denmark often wearing a brooch so maybe one day Catherine will start wearing some of the stunning brooches in the BRF collection.

  13. This is a beautiful coat. Its well made and of excellent quality, it fits perfectly. It would be nice to have seen multi colored shoes and bag for a change, regardless she looks beautiful.

I'm on the fence, she looks lovely as usual, but i also don't like the combination, maybe the dress too summery for a coat?
I also miss a brooch, but that would make three outfit even more formal, and it was too formal for three event.
Finally i also don't like white shoes.
On the other hand, i would like to ask them so many questions, how are you feeling? Are you looking forward the coronation or the opposite? What's the family's general feeling happiness or anxiety?
Can wait for Saturday to come!!

  17. Belle combinaison de couleurs entre le manteau et la robe mais à mon avis, le style des chaussures n’est pas du tout tendance !

This is a beautiful well taylored coat and dress. This is also what I would call the Kate model. Calves length and very stricly fitted around the waist. As she has beautiful legs I prefer to see her in dresses and coats knee length with a circle skirt. In that way she has a little bit more volume around the walist.

The color combination of the outfit looks cheap. A tight maxi jacket on a tall and very thin person really does not look very good. Slightly shorter jackets and skirts and slightly looser cuts in clothes would suit Kate much better. - Siri
