I love all dresses, but most of all I love her being there!

Why do I always get the impression she is wearing the same dress?

Wow, lots of lovely dresses here and she did well to adhere to the long length protocol for all of them. My favourite is the cobalt blue dress (contrasts so well with her blonde hair) followed by the Beulah dress with the petal sleeves and then the Altuzarrah dress with the handkerchief hem (fine with me). The other white dress is a good, everyday, working dress ,and my least fav is the Beaulah polka dot one, though there's nothing wrong with it - just not my choice. If it were me I would have worn the cobalt blue dress in the evening and the white Beulah dress to the school. Sophie looks very good.

I thought her preference for longer length dresses would work out well due to the culture until I saw the group photo, #8. I am surprised to see not only pants but short dresses! Sophie looks amongst the most conservative. I have learned something.

From what I can see, she looks splendid in all of these outfits. I’m not usually fond of uneven hemlines, but in the Altazzura dress, it does echo the pattern of the fabric so it looks quite interesting and dramatic. (V.M.)

I really like every dress she has worn on this trip. The first one and the Altuzarra are particularly lovely.

Finally an event where Sophie's longer skirt length is not only appropriate, dare we say, necessary! lol.

The royal blue dress is a lovely color on the Duchess. I love the wide belt on the white shirt-dress--Sophie looks better than the model, imo in that one. I know the black/white/floral Belulah is a repeat; I like it better here than the last time, but I still want "something" else with it. A bright pink or orange belt? (I can't tell what color those flowers actually are.) A bright pink or orange necklace (or scarf?). It's nice enough--but could be better with 1 more thing.

  10. The Duchess looks lovely. I like all of the outfits but the blue one is my favorite. I am not a big fan of the longer lengths but she seems to like it and I am sure she is more comfortable with that length. She appears to have lost some weight recently. She is lovely and I like her hair a bit shorter now rather than the longer length she was wearing.

Like all her dresses, usually i don't like her choices, but this time around i think that all were perfect for the occasion and great for her figure, of course knowing that she favors long length skirts/dresses
    And the shoes well coordinated.

The Duchess of E's loveliest dresses on this trip are the Beulah dresses. The ME + EM is also beautiful and it is a color that suits Sophie very well. All the buttons from the neck (almost) until the hemline ruin the beauty of this dress, not beautiful.

  14. De toutes ces robes, c'est le modèle bleu imprimé qui a ma préférence mais il est vraiment dommage que je n'ai pas pu mieux le voir porté par Sophie ! :

      Totally agreed, Ava.
The Duchess is such a precious asset to the BRF and she is incresingly growing in her prominent role as an ambassador for Britain.
I have to say that I am very impressed .
Maybe it is just me but as far as I can remember has any British royal member ever paid a formal visit to Iraq before?
I didn't read articles about the Duchess's trip so I can't write an informed comment.
Other than that , I like all the outfits- my favourite one Is the cobalt blue dress though- and the way they adhere to the long length protocol, as It was said in a comment above.
Sophie's blonde hair and lovely make- up are worth mentioning as well.

    2. That is a good point you bring up P. the original. I am not sure, I would have to do some research with regards to other British royal member's visiting Iraq. It would be very interesting to know. Maybe one of our fellow bloggers might know? (Hope you are well and all is good in your part of the world, Sincerely, Hugs)

Sophie looks marvelous in all her different outfits--I really love the cobalt blue ME+EM dress. The color is wonderful for her. She is doing such good work on behalf of women. What great representative is for the UK and the BRF. I hope we get to see more of the Altuzarra--I'm not a fan of the handkerchief hem but who knows, maybe I will like how Sophie styles it. I like the belt she added with the simple Gabriela Hearst shirtwaist dress--gives it some needed color. The Beulah dress is one of my favorites in her closet--very simple and elegant that can be worn to different types of events based on the choice of accessories. The first time I saw the Beulah polka dot dress I was not sure I really like it--but this time, I do. No idea what I didn't like about the dress during the Coronation events that has changed now but I think Sophie looks good in it this time out. Her hair on this trip is also well done--hope she keeps up with this color and style.

Lovely outfits Sophie worse on this visit. Too bad the Princess Royal, Anne's visit to Canada was not covered on this blog. She looked especially fetching. Edwina
