Queen Rania opened the Wijdan Art Space building at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts Park (JNGFA) in Jabal Al Weibdeh. The opening ceremony was attended by Princess Wijdan and other members of the Jordanian royal family. Princess Wijdan is both a painter and an art historian. In 1966, she got married to Prince Ali bin Nayif of Jordan and thus became a member of the royal family and was given the title of Princess Wijdan.
Princess Wijdan is president of the Royal Society of Fine Arts (RSFA). The Wijdan Art Space has been named in honor of Princess Wijdan and it has studios and spaces to be used for mentored courses and workshops in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, graphic design and art appreciation.

ردحذفLooking at this dress on the hanger, I wouldn't give it a second glance, it appears just ugh. But on Queen Rania it comes alive, she looks fantastic. I would have thought maybe this was too juvenile a look with all the ruffles, but they lay just perfectly. The shoes are gorgeous and I love the pop of color with her bag.

ردحذفPrincess Wijdan doesn't look 83! I like what both ladies are wearing. Rania's has the potential to be a bit juvenile but I think with the sunny weather and a bit of panache, she pulls off the frills and flounces.
