On May 30, Queen Letizia of Spain attended the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day 2023 event that was held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. This year's event was held under the slogan “Everything we do comes from the heart". At the event, the Queen was accompanied by the new president of the Spanish Red Cross, Maria del Mar Pageo. The Queen presented the 2022 Gold Medals of the Spanish Red Cross to their recipients.

I like this dress. It has several layers of ruffels and two different fabrics but it works well. I guess the pattern of the fabric "swallows" these details and makes the whole look great. Can't really explain what it.

I love the entire look, but do have a quibble with the handbag strap dangling. Most handbags with a double handle (like this bag) allow for removing the long shoulder strap, which I would find preferable. S.M.
ردحذفI agree about the shoulder strap. The dress suits Letizia very much. It adds volume, but not too much, to all the right places. Also the colours really suit her.

ردحذفShe looks good, because she almost always looks good, but I don't like this dress on so many levels. Even if I don't count my aversion against shirt dresses - this one is much too busy. Pattern and colours are busy, but then, both change as well, and the the ruffles and a self belt ... no, I just don't find anything enjoyable for my eyes here. Also not sure that a slingback is good with this dress.

The dress is nice (wonder if it comes in lighter Spring colours?), but it's the shoes that I love. Perfect for the over all look, and for the weather.

Maybe the woman in white was thinking that she would wear the best dress she owns to meet the queen, as most women would. Not all women have huge wardrobes or the money to purchase new outfits for every occasion. If she did buy it for this occasion, she must like it. That is all that matters. I'm sorry she didn't consult you first.

ردحذفI don't like tiered dresses at all, but this shirt dress looks lovely. The color combination is pretty. Love the hot fuchsia color of her handbag, clever choice. The white silk dress and black pattern is a very pretty dress, the lady looks very elegant.
ردحذفI’m definitely in the minority here but not a fan of this dress. It’s colours seem more autumnal than springlike and the different patterns plus the frills plus the longer length are overly fussy. I don’t hate it but I have definitely seen better dresses for this super elegant Queen

Annie, i feel the same, of course she looks regal, but that's just because her posture, hair, make up, confidence and natural beauty (so everything) but also don't live the dress neither the combination with the purse, the heels on the other hand love them!
