On May 2, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the presentation ceremony of 2023 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award at Stockholm Concert Hall and presented the award to writer Laurie Halse Anderson, who is one of America's foremost writers for young adults. Her breakthrough novel named Speak was published in 1999 and was translated into many languages and adapted to a cinema film.
The Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award was created in 2002 by the Swedish Government to support children's and young adult literature. The global awards is given each year to a person or organization for their contribution to that kind of literature. The award is managed by the Swedish Arts Council.

She is lovely but that round neckline and the "lazy" shoulder area don't suit her.
