On April 17, 2023, Swedish Queen Silvia bought the year's first Mayflower pin. This year, Lana Khalife and Ahmed Al-Fatli had the honour of selling the first Mayflower pin to the Queen. Mayflower (Majblomman) is a nonprofit organisation with the mission to decrease the impact of child poverty in Sweden.

Majblomman’s work is financed by thousands of children that sell "majblomman" (Mayflower) – a small flower pin – each year in April. Children in families with a low level of income may apply to Majblomman for financial aid to cover costs such as after school activity fees, winter clothes or sports equipment.

    Q. Sylvia looks very nice, young, modern. Both her blazers are stylish, I can't decide which one I prefer, perhaps the chequered one.

  2. Superbe Silvia dans le premier blazer qui peut aussi bien se porter avec un pantalon -qu'elle adore- qu'une jupe ; la couleur de son rouge à lèvres est très bien choisie !

I must comment on the last pictures of ski athlete Pernilla Wiberg in the blue outfit. That was the most horrible outfit I’ve ever seen. Too much blue, ill fitted large pants and an awful jacket.

Q Silvia looks nice, though the purple lipstick is makes her look dated. Of the two outfits, the red jacket, slim pants, and black shoes makes her look younger and up to date. G & C

QS has superb sense of style, but I wish she would change her lipstick shade to coordinate with her clothing. The purplish shade she favors does not go well with reds. S.M.

  9. The tartan jacket is fine but I love the red one. A very youthful looking outfit overall.

I also like both blazers, but I like the red best. The blouse is not the best choice for the tartan blazer, IMO. Agree about the lipstick. Nonetheless, the Queen looks stunning, as always.

  11. The lipstick is the wrong colour for the red tartan blazer, it should a soft red.
