This is a big miss for her. I absolutely don’t spike the white skirt with the blue pattern on. Maybe if the pattern was the color of the blouse it could work but not like this

Very interesting skirt. I would have preferred the top the model is wearing but the black blouse looks a bit more business like from afar. Perfectly coloured clutch.

    1. I agree that the top would have been better in the shade of blue on the model. However, it is good to see a re-wear given the theme of Danish solutions for a circular economy. The skirt is a good example of this Bahaus solution. The shoes match well the light blue panel of colour in the skirt.

  3. Très joli plissé de cette jupe qui serait plus à mon goût avec les motifs de la même couleur que son chemisier ; élégantes boucles d'oreilles dont le pendant est à perles !

  4. I don’t love the skirt. I think it’s the glaring white with the black top that throws me off. I don’t like the white shoes with it either. Mary has so many other lovely pleated skirts which would have looked better here. On the other hand, I LOVE her blouse and would love to know what brand it is.

The blue patches are weird. She should have gone with a monocrome look with the dark shirt and a white skirt.

I happen to like the skirt, reminds me of a painting. Plus, I like it much better with the black blouse than a blue one as shown on the display. Her light blue shoes are so beautiful, I've always loved them. She looks quite professional, as fits the engagement.

The pattern of the skirt combined with a third dark color of blouse, then pastel shoes is not a good look, especially with the type of occasion of business meetings. Maggi

  8. The hair is popping, amazing colour! Skin is glowing radiant! I wish she last the same top as the model. But she carries this style so well.

  9. I prefer the black blouse as it blends with the waistband color and allows the skirt to stand on its own. Mary, as usual, looks lovely and professional. MR

Awful, nothing goes together. And why does she not get a haircut?

I think the answer to your question is likely that she enjoys her hair like that?! I think it looks very pretty indeed.

  13. Interesting skirt! If the top was a matching blue or if it was white then it might work but it does look odd with the blue blouse. I wouldn't rate it as one of DP Mary's better choices,

The skirt is fine, its the style of the shirt and her long hair that throws it off. The previous time she wore the skirt, her hair was up, the sleeves were pushed up so it was a better balance. Imo

  17. With my old fashioned attitudes to fashion, I shouldn’t like her outfit, but I do.

Mary is always dressed impeccably . The only thing I really dislike is her hair. This new girlish long hair with curls, same as Mette-Marit… In my opinion it takes off the smart elegant look that she used to have.

  19. The skirt is nice, but I dont like the style. The blouse, I'm on the fence about it. I think maybe her hair may have looked better up. Regardless she looks well groomed, and very pretty.

Fabulous skirt! Evokes a geometric Mondrian painting! Pale blue heels are subtly lovely with the matching color block.

Milan design week is pretty spectacular; no doubt there are some exhibitors from Denmark. The skirt and top look; the skirt either needs a blue top similar to the skirt or a really bright top. Who wears white stiletto's in Milan even they needed to be a bright colour; that is what Milan is all about. The lady in the orange top, green skirt knows what Mila is all about Ciao Bella Bella(Tara)

I'd never buy a skirt like this, but it looks great on Mary. The shoes are absolutely lovely and I love her blouse and hair. Accidentally I met a lady yesterday who was wearing a skirt with a pink, orange and white pattern much like this one, again something I could never wear but a great look on her!/Grace

Not fan of the blue geometric pattern but somehow CPss Mary make this skirt work by choosing simple black blouse and keeping everything simple. Blue-Black-White colors look so fresh and lovely together.
Her hair are getting long. She has lovely and healthy hair, and I don't mind longer length. These days are over when women of 40+ had to wear only short hair or tight buns :P She looks great and she's in really good shape.

I think black a little severe for the lightweight skirt.A royal blue blouse would have been a better option, and certainly more flattering than the black. Bea

To me it feels that a different colour (cobalt, black or even red) or maybe a multi coloured pair of shoes would have significantly improved the overall look

This outfit was for business meetings. The outfit especially the skirt and shoes should be worn to a party, or summer festival, not a good look.
