This year marks King Carl Gustaf's 50 years as Sweden's head of state. King Carl Gustaf ascended the throne on 15 September 1973. On April 20, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Blekinge County. The King and Queen visited Blekinge Museum. As part of the celebration of the King's 50th anniversary on the throne, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia are visiting Sweden's 21 counties in 2023.

      I agree. It’s quite surprising that crispy white, compared to the black and dark coats surrounding her. But it really works. Not surprising for Queen Sylvia. She is always impeccable.

    The white cape is absolutely stunning, love it. The blouse, jacket and black pants look exceptionally lovely. The Queen looks very stylish, chic and elegant. She never looks anything but well groomed and classically attired.

    Queen Silvia looks lovely and elegant as always. I particularly like the Chanel (-look-a-like ?) jacket. Be careful your majesty, the hair fashion police might be ready to attack you because the wind plays with you beautiful hair (picture n° 6)

      Very good comment. Yes, she has thick,full hair - which is useful for any hairstyle - like the hair of Catherine or Mary or Q. Sonja.
