The Crown Princess of Norway, looks lovely in this colour. I am sorry to say The Princess of Wales suit is a no for me. I think if she wore another colour under the jacket and a cami, something simple there is just too much green, for me.

ردحذفNow that you mention it, her right eye is looking different. It can have several reasons : make-up, infection, an upcoming cold,.... who knows ? One thing is for sure : better go easy with make-up, only use make-up that is antiallergic and perfume free. I had myself years ago skin problems due to make-up. Since I follow the good advice of my dermatologist, the problems are almost gone.

Both are beautifully dressed, with Princess Mette-Marit looking her best in a red dress. She is elegantly and beautifully dressed, showing respect for her hosts. Her hostess, Princess Catherine, is impressively dressed in a modest outfit. It is a pleasure to see these two royal ladies in perfect manners. I know they have both had the hardships of coming from commoners into the royal family, but they are steady and great ladies.

@deadeggs - i think no commoner is ‘born for the job’. Too many protocols … even an aristocrat might struggle. Some do not want the ‘job’, it should be tough to be watched for any move, any word, any time! The Brits are particularly mannered and pompous, need to show it more in order to fit into the royal family when born as a commoner … Kate has a posher accent than William himself 😂 She is doing well her ‘job’.

@Anna. As non British I always liked to listen to the late Queen E II. I liked her speeches. I understood almost every word. She had a clear and young voice even when she was already very old. King Charles also speaks a sort of English that I understand quite well. He just should speak a bit louder. I don't understand well the speeches I heard so far as well by Prince William as by Princess Kate. I didn't know there were posher accents and other. To me Queen Elisabeth spoke the best English I ever heard. But that is perhaps due to her generation. In the Netherlands former Queen Beatrix also spoke the best Dutch I ever heard.

Why aren't the British heirs called crown princes like others?
