Glad to see her chest covered for once, but maybe too much cover up! looks like she has a splint around her neck and fabric sweeping the floor

The colour is good, but otherwise - the very high neck, the bulky layers, the long skirt, the wide belt - are all quite unflattering on the G. D. (V.M.)

So do I. The Cashmere twinset has got a nice colour, but the skirt and bulky belt are unflattering, not good for small person like M.T.

Nice outfit and the brown belt is a good choice. I would have liked to see brown boots as well. I can’t stand the uneven hem. Nothing edgy or fashionable about it, just weird.

    1. Agree with the details you propose. I'm in your camp regarding uneven hems - just weird.

  5. Le style de cette tenue n'est pas à l'avantage de Marie Teresa à part peut-être la couleur même si elle est un peu fade !

  6. Too much fabric but the color is flattering.
I wonder if this was an anti-bullying initiative. That would be ironic.

This outfit is only good on tall slim women. Sorry GD Maria Teresa is too little to wear these thick cardigan and high-neck sweater. It looks like the skirt is made in a lighter quality of fabric, but still with the length and the uneven hemline it is not a good idea. If it was for me (I have a petite size too) I'd wear a pleated midi skirt in a dark color with high boots, a light cashmere sweater with a round or V-neck and a woolen blazer in a matching dark color.

The outfit color is nice, and for a change we didn't see a low cut top or a dreadful bustier-top. No to the bulky layers, and the uneven hemline. The length of skirt is plain silly looking on a short woman. A taller woman might be able to carry it off, but just an odd outfit.

  9. I am rather short myself. I would not opt to wear a turtleneck jumper in such a heavy knit style as this looks shortens you even more. The skirt also is too long, it sweeps the floor on the sides, which is not good at all. The belt, however, is nice as a single piece but doesn't do much to improve the outfit as such.

Haha, she read our comments about her live for deep decollete and decided to to cover up. Alas she looks like a huge pile of beige fabric. Not a good look in my opinion

You know, I've noticed something with GDMT. Ever since she had that knee injury/surgery back in 2019 (that I don't think we ever got a full explanation about), she doesn't show her legs any more. Always in pants, longs skirts, and long dresses. Never in a knee length suit, skirt or dress. I don't even think we've seen her in a "Midi" length dress. Just an observation.

Regarding this outfit. On a tall person this would look great and chic. On GDMT's petite frame it just looks oversized and frumpy.

Her face significantly changes over time, getting much younger but can hardly recognise her. Is it only me or do you also see that? 🤔

    2. I wonder if she could tell us what she does or who does it for her.
I'd be very interested as I'm overdue for some urgent work on my ageing face. The supermarket creams I buy don't seem to be doing much good other than draining my bank account. .🥺

MT looks marvelous in this color--not many people can wear this color as well. However, the bulk of the twin set overwhelms her. Then, the skirt is a hot mess--the uneven hemline does nothing for her. Perhaps if the skirt was evened out and adapted to her height it might all look better. The 2nd and 3rd photos show the potential of the twin set. Maybe, styled differently and a redesign of the skirt could make this a good look for the Grand Duchess.

  14. The idea for this outfit is good, like the beige tones, but I don't like hemlines such as this. The overall look is of bulk, the GD is petite this is not a good look.

The extra thick bulky clothes are like padding making her appear larger all around than she is!

I like her new style. So much younger and edgy. Her hair is also perfect for her. She choosed the wrong boots her, but like the look of it all.

She looks fabulous! I would have rolled up the sleeves a bit more, and tightened the belt a tad, and worn matching boots & bag in the same oxblood color as the belt. Maybe add a long chain with chunky pendant to break up the expanse of beige on her chest and create a V as counterpoint to the thick rollneck. S.M.
