  1. Alors là, je suis ravie de voir Mary dans cette blouse à motifs sur fond rouille, accord parfait avec ses cheveux et ses lunettes ; de nouvelles créoles ?!

    1. I agree. The blouse looks a million times better without the ribbon around the neck, and using it as a belt instead is genius.
I´m not wild about the blouse as such (colour, print, shine), but the fit of the entire outfit is superb, and the styling flawless.

Mary's blouse has just the right amount of drama with the wide sleeves and lovely print.

Very interesting elegant blouse and nice pants. I have not gotten used to her wearing glasses. Makes her look very different.

I love her glasses (color and shape)! I think it rounds out her face in a beautiful way. She looks sophisticated and smart.

Mary seems to be changing her glasses daily, to fit each outfit. Nice to have that much $$ to afford so many different glasses with frames. My new lenses just cost me 600$, that did not include cost of the frames.
The blouse makes me dizzy just looking at it. This outfit is a no from me.

I have 8 glasses in different colours and I am not rich. Sure you need glasses if alone this beautiful blouse makes you dizzy. I think it is envy. Not good for eyes and body and soul. Siv

I think Mary would need smaller glasses, but the frame color is nice.
For example, I have 4 glasses, they also cost me from 600 to 800 euros, but of course I don't buy them all at once. (I am teacher)

Not sure where you live but that's seems very expensive for your glasses. Jj

Sadly, the cost of specialty lens is expensive, I've had to get them as well.

But I wish they'd give Prince Frederik a good wash and polish when he's doing joint outings with Princess Mary.
Except for when he's in a uniform with all his medals and decorations, he looks untidy and unkept and wears suits that never fit.
Big exception is his sporting gear. He wears that well and always looks as if he's ready to jump out of his skin 😃

Awesome! love the blouse’s pattern with wide sleeves and flared trouser, it makes a simple, classic outfit for the event however very elegant and class. Thumps up for Mary, always dressed perfectly for any event ☺️

Normally I like everything Mary is wearing, always top notch. She really can wear just about anything and still look good.
But, those glasses, I really don’t like the shape of them. I have noticed that she also like that shape with her sunglasses.

Love this look! I much prefer this blouse on this second outing--the bow at the neck was too much but as a belt--superb. Mary looks fabulous in this modern, chic outfit. I also really like her glasses.

To deadeggs: the word “unkempt”, not unkept.
Hate the large glasses. They compete for attention with every outfit she wears.

    1. Thank you @Anon 20:45 for your comment on the words unkempt and unkept.
On checking out the two words I see that they are semantically related. It appears that if you are referring to people with an untidy appearance or scruffy, one would use the word ‘unkempt.’’
It’s a word that is often used when referring to hair.
e;g; we could say that Queen Maxima’s hair is often unkempt.
However, if it is an untidy thing e;g; house, garden, you would use the word ‘unkept.’’ e.g. I don’t think Princess Amalia’s bedroom would not be unkept.
I was thinking of Prince Frederik as an object (like a statue) that can be washed and polished so I used unkept and not unkempt.
Again, thanks for reminding me of the difference.
Back to fashion : Re Princess Mary’s glasses, I’m on the fence. In some photos it’s ‘yes’ and in other photos it’s ‘no.’
