Again a stunning Alexander McQueen suit, this time for eveningwear.
    Nothing “ classic” here!
Eyemake-up a bit too heavy, but in total: immaculate again,

Agree on everything. She looks stunning in that suite. She is so beautiful, she doesn't need that much makeup

Fantastic red pantsuit in a strong colour for the Princess. It emphasizes the fact she is the star this night. A very good look. I feel a semi-updo or just doing something with her hair would have upped this look a little bit more. William is also looking great in his blue suit, obviously very proud and supporting his wife on her night in the spotlights. Lovely to see.

  4. This is a beautiful pantsuit. The Princess has the height to wear this red pantsuit, with style and elegance. The fit and cut of the pantsuit is perfect for the Princess. It's really beautifully made, I love the interesting feature in the front. Love the red accessories. The earrings blend in well with the outfit.

What is boring on long hair…. Catherine has health shiny hair she looks FABULOUS.

What could be boring showing your long, luxurious and perfectly groomed hair?
I have very lovely long wavy hair, too. Those ladies who tell me it’s boring or whatever are mostly those with very short and / or thin hair who unsuccessfully try to hide their envy. ;-)

I have long hair too... but I'm 20 not 41.

41 is ancient - really she should be bald by now.

      Short hair like Princess Charlene.

    6. I will turn 62 in a few weeks. My hair is much longer than Catherine's. It is still a misconception (mainly amongst women) that one should not wear hair longer than shoulder-length (better even less) when getting older (often 40+). I do not agree with that. It always depends on the inidividual person and the hair, too. Did you know, btw, that CP Victoria has equally long hair, just wearing it in her tight signature bun most of the time? What say you to that? Honestly, I prefer Catherine's hairdos over Victoria's multiple times.

Another elegant, timeless and lovely outfit. Her makeup is a bit heavy [read: agening] but otherwise once again wonderul look. And feeling some serious hair envy :D

I absolutely adore this pantsuit, I disagree with the opinion that is predictable, in my opinion is edgy and modern, the jacket has the most subtle and yet innovative details, the uneven front, the interesting pockets, and the side slit, the pants are current and have the perfect silhouette and length, not to mention the beautiful color. Love the earrings as well, the only thing I would’ve changed is the clutch, perhaps one with geometric print just to brake the red, but for me a 10.
A as side note, she and Letizia really rock pantsuits!!

Close up photos show too much make up, causing PoW to look older, I love the red outfit, but the color but it doesn't seem to flatter Catherine.

Totally agree with you Virginia! Tons of make up and horrible red outfit. Agressive red, not a soft / classy red. She’s ok looking most of the time but not this time.

Very interesting earrings. And a good outfit to wear them with. They would also look really good with her hair up or pulled back.

Gorgeous!!! Catherine's suit is perfect, a great color for her, and spot on for being in the spotlight. I agree she's topped up her makeup but I feel 1) she's out for the evening and 2) she was under powerful lights while giving her speech, being photographed, etc. And, that first picture--William is shining with love and pride!!!

Gorgeous lady in red. She rocks this colour. Very stylish and modern. I love the little details that gives the suit the edge and the earrings are perfect. I give her a 10. She is elegant, sophisticated and a royal to be proud of. Her confidence and believe in her own abilities....HRH and Prince William are just in another class.

Anonymous @21:12, not everybody has to like everything Catherine wears, or her hair?
Saying that you do not like a certain aspect of her appearance doesn’t necessarily mean negativity, or conspiracy, just a different opinion. Sometimes I like her style, other times not so much.

  27. Catherine wear this suit very well, stunning colour on her.
A lot of you are saying her eye makeup is too dark/heavy., she does not blend her eye makeup, that is the problem, it would look a lot softer if she did. Sometimes I feel she does not wear enough and looks very washout.
But she is looking very confident of late, it is wonderful to see.

As is the case in all fashion photos as well as royals- teams of people to help make you look outstanding. What else did you expect looking on a royal fashion blog- which unless you are royal would not have included you anyway. (inserting eye roll). Also as others wisely pointed out, even with those teams it doesn’t always have a great outcome.

She looks great here- great color, style and I think the hair down gives this suit a glamorous, relaxing element (pulled back would read/feel more edgy business) for a night out. I also think the eye makeup is fine with this- close-ups clearly show it is not her this kohl liner of (hopefully) bygone days.
