Some great pictures of the three royals. Love the Queen's jumpsuit. Perfect choice for a rugged outing.

They are all looking great in formal casual wear today. A different hairstyle for Amalia: I like this very much. Nice combo of trousers and oversized blouse, earrings, lipstick and sunglasses as well. I think the length of Maxima's jumpsuit is a bit odd. It seems folded, as with the arms, so I guess it was intentional, but I would have kept it a little longer on the legs.

  3. Clearly casual was the dress code for the day, but the king looks remarkably scruffy and the cap is awful. It looks very warm but Queen Maxima manages to look relatively cool, her outfit is appropriate and her tied back hair is also a winner.

    1. Have just seen the additional photos and what a difference for Princess Amalia. With her hair pinned up attractively and a bright top instead of the insipid colours she has been wearing, she looks so much better.

All three of them look very, very good!
WA has trimmed down considerably and looks all the better for it.
Maxima looks chic and smart in her safari-style jumpsuit, and CP Amalia looks comfortable and relaxed in cool colours and light fabrics. Lovely.

  5. There are some lovely pictures of Amalia here, she tends to wear stuff that looks too old on her, this was a nice balance of appropriate and yet casual. They must have been very hot, look at Amalia's hair!

Amalia needs to at wash her hair. Photo ten shows it has not been washed in several days.

No, you can't tell that from photo 10 - or any other photo.

I doubt Amalia's hair is dirty or not washed, I would think the climate would wreak havoc on her hair!

    3. In hot, humid climates, one's hair often looks like that even if it was washed that day. I live in Houston, and my hair can look like that on days I've washed my hair if I spend an hour or so outside. Your scalp sweats, too, you know.

I think it just got damp in the heat there.

The Queen and King's hair were not looking like heat affected their respective heads.

@Anon 15:40 Amalia has 10 times the hair her parents have. She will have more trouble with heat, wind and sweat than they will. The original comment was mean.

  7. The Queen's Khaki outfit is fabulous, I love this outfit, perfect for the visit. The day dress she choose is so pretty, lovely pastel colors. Amalia's pale blouse and pants were a good choice and she looks great. The green blouse and white pants looks wonderful. I love her mulit colored clutch, this is beautiful.

Amalia definitely borrowed from her mother’s earring cupboard!

  9. The green-and-white combo is a winner. Very fresh, very becoming. Fits and suits her well. Earrings and clutch unfortunately don´t match.

Sorry but I don’t like the style of this family

    1. No need for the "sorry". People have different taste. I also don't like their style very much. They lack elegance. Someone like Mary, Letizia and Catherine look elegant even in heat and damp.

Amalia is looking better and better, so nice to see her more at ease too.
The king doesnot know how to dress informal, it is really awfull and shabby.
Q M: elegant in both outfits.

  12. Looks like it was a 'dress down' day for the Royal family.
Nice break for them to get out and enjoy the paradisiac beauty of the Island whilst still working.
Perfect fashion choices. Love Princess Amalia's green top.
Amalia seems to be enjoying her on-the -job training.
    Happy continuation with their visit.

  13. Tenue décontractée pour tout le monde mais je n'arrive pas à comprendre Maxima qui porte une coiffe/turban pour aller sur le terrain à savoir chez un maraîcher ; Amalia est à croquer dans le vert lumineux de son chemisier !

The turban piece/hat on Maxima’s head could be part and parcel of
hair extensions, that is, if she is using extensions.
It could be hiding the line where the join is made.
      Just a guess.
But it seems that with some of her hair styles, something is needed to hold it all together.
Photo N°15 is a nice photo of Princess Amali to keep for their family album.

Amalia looks great in the later pictures. Her hair pinned up this way is very good. It balances her face and body shape in a very good way. Ladyofthemanor

Yes! Amalia! And that green blouse complements her so well. Finally an outfit that works for her on this trip.
