  1. Not just a pretty face, she has skills. Her dress looks odd at the back but in a good way, its looks non traditional

  2. Adorable princesse qui a su apporter une petite touche de fraîcheur dans ses tenues en dehors de celles plus officielles ; cette couleur framboise/fraise lui va à ravir tout en s'accordant avec celle de ses boucles d'oreilles !

  3. Great to see Princess Kako in a dress that has moved from the ultra traditional look we usually see for the Japanese royal ladies. Not sure abut the rather odd skirt but any move to more up to date is to be welcomed. She really suits this lovely rose pink. Kudos for her speech language skills.

I suppose we will never see a Japanese royal in anything remotely fashionable but I like the color. Ladyofthemanor

Pretty princess in a beautiful dress--such a wonderful color for Kako. I am impressed she knows sign language so well, she is so comfortable with sign language that she can give a public speech. A very skilled young lady and a major asset to the Japanese royals and her nation.

    1. Agree @ Janet. Yes, she is an asset to the Japanese royals but can she stay that way.
I wonder if Princess Kako will be thrown out with the dishwater if she decides to marry a commoner. Her sister Princess Mako was divorced from the Royal family due to the choice of partner she chose to marry.
Would be nice to get some news on her sister and her new life in America.
I think her sister has lost her title of Princess and become just Mrs Komuro

The Komuro couple are still paparazzi from Japanese weekly magazines and youtubers.

They moved to New York to avoid media attacks and to lead a peaceful and quiet life.

      Please leave the them alone.

O.K. O.K. Got the message loud and clear.
I’ll never mention the names of Mr and Mrs Komuro again.

I think the woman in the kimono is the best dressed. :-|

  9. Princess Kako is beautiful in this rose-colored dress. We can get just a glimpse of her earrings which appear to be floral in design and deep pink to match her dress. I wonder if the "train" of her dress is detachable. Her dress is different from anything I've seen the JRF wear but, perhaps, she has more freedom when making solo appearances.
