On January 10, 2023, Japan's Crown Prince Akishino, Crown Princess Kiko and their son Prince Hisahito visited the Japanese Overseas Migration Museum in Yokohama on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. This museum charts the history of Japanese migration overseas, primarily to the Americas and Hawaii. The museum is operated by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

ReplyDeleteThe family has nurtured strong relationships with Japanese who have emigrated abroad. It is an opportunity for their son to learn about them. Carrying on relationships in the future will encourage those who have struggled on the other side of the globe and their descendants.
On an occasion that a son learns what his father has taken over from his grandfather, if the mother's outfit stands out the most, or if the father and son match their ties to the mother's dress, it would give someone the impression that the mother is the master of the family.
They never do that. They would not care about "ordinary" or "boring.
The sentiment put into their outfits is the difference between royal and celebrity fashion.
Lovely to see the Crown Prince and Crown Princess, out and about. I love her two piece suit, she looks well groomed.
