  1. Beatrice est vraiment une belle femme qui sait mettre en valeur les tenues de Dior ; j'aimerais bien quand même la voir avec une silhouette moins amincie !

She looks beautiful but the outfit itself looks ridiculous. Sheer sleeves and naked thighs and the rest is all bundled up in layers of wool. In what climate is this suitable? Ladyofthemanor

  5. Beatrice Borromeo Casiragh is a very beautiful and elegant woman who comes from an Italian aristocratic background.
This Dior outfit makes me think of a Barbie Doll who has just been pulled out of a box.
Is the black hat there to offset the dark sunglasses?

She looks, great. Love her hair & hat. She looks like she stepped put of the 1960s very hip. Mary

Looks like she is channeling Alicia Silverstone in Clueless. I quite like the top part of the outfit but the bare legs and boots are not my thing really.

Oh dear…the first picture gave me high hopes, rapidly dashed on what apparently is cutting-edge fashion…Jane

She can pull this off, but I would prefer a pair of black leather boots, instead of the hideous ones she 's wearing.

What a beauty in every way!

  12. It is an elegant styling but the outfit itself is silly. The shorts are way too short, they don´t make sense with cape and boots anyway, and the sheer sleeves of the blouse equally contradict the wintery items, as do the sunglasses.
I like the material and cut of the cape, and I think it would have looked fantastic with a turtleneck knit top (instead of the blouse) and a knee length skirt (instead of the shorts).

L'outfit è strano e può non piacere, ma lei è di una bellezza angelica e riesce ad essere elegante anche con un secchio in testa.

  14. The thing here is that her outfit isn't about royal fashion we normally get to see or are used to. It is called Haute Couture, and Haute Couture is very often very artistic, very avantgarde, very impractical, very provocative, and - in many cases - nearly un-wearable under every day circumstances. In every Haute Couture fashion show you get to see eye-brow-raising stuff on the runway. Beatrice B.-Casiraghi is one of the few royals being able to pull off the unusual Haute Couture looks, however silly they might appear to us. I particularly like how she combined the whole (some might say unorthodox) outfit with a very chic and classic hat with bird-cage veil attached to it. Let's keep in mind that she sports that look in her capacity as a brand ambassador, promoting this particular fashion house.

    1. You know, I'd come to the same conclusion. It is "Haute Couture" not really fashion/trends etc. Designers use it to shock and get people talking about their products and their name.
Amongst many, the late Virginia Westwood was a champion at this. But if you went into her shop in London, the robes/dresses were classic fashion creations with just a gentle touch of "off-beat".

Just wow. She looks better than the model. Love the boots with her outfit. Such a fashion look that she pulls off. Just beautiful. Like a real life version of a fashion doll.

A rare miss for me, but the outfit on the model is perfection.

Not a bad looking outfit, but not good for her. And way too short, she isn't 17 anymore. css

Beatrice looks gorgeous! Her outfit has a very 60s vibe--sorry, French fashion house but this is like the Carnaby Street fashions worn by such fashion icons as Twiggy. The only thing I would have added is black opaque tights because the bare legs are jarring otherwise I love this look.

  19. She looks lovely, but I don't like this outfit at all. The skirt being knee length would look so much more elegant and stylish. It just looks cut off cape and skirt, but that is just my taste's. The bare legs and boots, not a fan of this look either

This is pure fashion so the outfit has no need to be practical. She’s looks fantastic and probably isn’t going to shovel her driveway later 😂

    1. But @Anon 23:57 If they get snow in Monaco or Paris maybe she'll have to do some shovelling 😊

I like the hat and the boots; the skirt and garments look lovely material, not sure about the knobbly knees contest. As the outfit looks like a winter garment seems that there is material lacking to keep the wearer warm (Tabby)

  22. DSC, ce que vous dites est tellement exact. De manière générale, si les textes, photos, faits sont remis dans leur contexte, l'analyse est réaliste au lieu de dysfonctionnelle. Merci pour ce beau début de journée.

Once again, the comments illustrate how little is known about fashion by those commenting about fashion. DSC is quite right about "haute couture". You don't have to like it because you aren't the one wearing it, but there is nothing wrong with what she is wearing either. It is a matter of not understanding it. Think of it in terms of art. We may not understand why a piece of art is considered beautiful or worth millions, but it is to some.

I don’t think Dior could have chosen a better ambassador for their brand. Beautiful and with that aristocratic air of “je ne sais quoi” about her.
