On December 31, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark delivered a new year speech for 2023 for the 51st time this year. The Queen's traditional speech took place at The Queen’s reception room in Christian IX’s Palace at Amalienborg.

There were three tupilaks on the table, which the Queen has personally received on various occasions. Tupilak means "The Ancestor's Soul" and is a small Greenlandic figure.

And during the Christmas and new year so did the Kings of Europe where are they? This is misandry Helen. Write about them all Kings and Queen. QM looks good by the way. Nice colour on her, and love the daisy broch on Daisy.

Oh what complete nonsense! This is primarily a fashion blog and most people are here to discuss what the women are wearing - there's only so much to be said about a suit and tie.

Anyway, Prince Albert's New Year greeting with his family has been published - last I heard he was a man.

Here's a New Year's resolution for you - stop making up reasons to complain about!

    3. Because Margrethe of Denmark now is the only Queen Regnant in Europe. All other monarchs are men right now. They might have delivered Christmas and/or New Year's speeches (like King Charles III did, which I watched) but there's not much to say about fashion when a king is shown giving a speech in suit and tie, all alone behind his desk, or any other location for that matter.

If this is gonna be a royal blog men should be written about too, so completely agree! Albert was only mention because his wife was on the photo so come on. DSC just to remind you this blog has for years only mention QE and QM's speeches. This blog usually tell us what did the Queens say in there speeches so why can't we be told what the Kings said? Do the royal houses only consist of femals?

Totally ignoring the points made about fashion @anon 6:50 - because then the argument doesn't stand up.

I do hope you and OP (not you is it?) have made lots of erudite comments about Prince Albert's clothing.

10:26 No I'm not OP. You do realise that several of us can have another opinion then you? I'm not the writer of the original comment either. Anything else you were wondering about? I wrote about the outfit in my one comment, but that is irrelevant here. Get of your high horse it doesn't look good.

6.44 - OP means original poster so if you aren't OP then clearly you didn't write the original comment either. 🙃 Yes, whoever you are, I do realise you can have a different opinion THAN me - but it didn't answer the point made so was completely irrelevant. I don't have a horse, high or otherwise (if I did I would get OFF it) and I really have better things to do with my life than wonder about a person who has nothing better to do than fake offence at men not being mentioned on this fashion blog.

I see in your tantrum that you don't realise that there is a person who calles him or herself OP. So how do you expect anyone should know what you think? And you can continue your bs as long as you like so go for it keep embarrassing yourself any way you can..

Whatever anon6.56 Why the hell should I know the monikers of every single poster on here? I have a life.

      Calls BTW.

You keep up your bs as well - along with the crap spelling and incomprehensible non-points.

Very nice picture of the queen. Beautiful coloured dress and the diamond daisy brooch. Spring flowers in the vase is a nice touch. Ladyofthemanor

  3. Les marguerites sont de sortie tant dans les boucles d'oreilles que sa broche en diamants ; la couleur mauve rosé lui va à merveille !

  5. Queen Margrethe looks lovely and the colour she is wearing is very flattering but the position of her beautiful daisy brooch seems a little off to me, it doesn't seem to be sitting in quite the right area.

Lovely color dress and the Daisy pin and earrings. Sadly, there is much tension in the family. css
