  1. How lovely they finally can spend some time with Mary's family also. I do hope they also get some privacy while they're there...

    3. No @ Europa. I'm sure Mary and Frederique would have no objection as long as it's done with discression and no harrasement.
The Aussies are "cool" you know.

  2. They're certainly not incognito in Australia but they probably have fewer cameras pointed at them than if they were home. All look relaxed and appropriately dressed for the Australian summer.

  3. Tenue estivale pour toute la famille. La chemise en lin de couleur orange a été bien choisie par Mary afin qu’elle s’associe au noir de son pantalon ; j'aime beaucoup ses sandales plates !

  4. Now aren’t they the lucky ones.
A winter, family holiday in the Aussie sun.
I’t’s certainly dress down fashion and rightly so.
Prince Frederik must be in his element.
Mary has opened the ball with her bright coloured blouse and ‘Birkenstock’ sandals.
Mary’s family, especially her dad, must be happy to have the baby of the family (two elder sisters, one elder brother) back home for the festive season. .
I wish them all a very happy and healthy festive season.
I hope the paparatzies take a break and let the Donaldsons’ have some private family time.

    1. I agree, they need to be given privacy, we should refuse to buy magazines that intrude upon them. Pray their time is blessed and safe while here, a chance to escape the made world.

  5. Such a lovely family. Crown Princess Mary has done an exemplary job in assimilating not only to Royal life and to Royal life in a foreign country, but with it being a country where English is not the chosen language, thus needing her to learn Danish, is quite a monumental task. Learning a new language, culture, lifestyle, plus becoming a Crown Princess + then having four children + raising them speaking Danish with English as the Second Language, takes a lot of focus, determination, dedication, commitment + obviously love + support from her husband, Crown Prince Frederick, Queen Margarethe + the Danish community. When you compare her to Meghan Markle in that both women left their country of origin to marry their “Prince” & needed to learn new cultural ways of doing things as well as adjust to Royalty + press, yet Mary obviously had many more obstacles to overcome + she has done so almost effortlessly, whereas Meghan lasted 71 working days in her role. To me, it speaks volumes about genuine love + commitment. Queen Margarethe often speaks highly of Mary + her strength + courage in not only assimilating but immersing herself as a Dane. Their four children are beautiful, caring, growing up with a relatively normal upbringing, without too much intrusion. It’s fabulous that most of the family has been able to come down to Australia to celebrate Christmas with Mary’s family + friends. A beautiful fairytale romance.

    2. @Anon 20/12/22 16:59 You have said many things and IMO you have said them well?
But please, it's the festive season and it would be nice to give the Duchess of Sussex a break so that she can enjoy this period with her husband and kids.

    3. @Anon 16:59 Your comparison of CP Mary and the Duchess of Sussex is both shallow and incongruent to the point of laughability. The DoS had a lot more at stake concerning her marriage into that particular royal family than CP Mary had with hers. Go read your history books.

    4. Mary has class, Megan is promoting herself with no genuine love for anyone, I pray King Charles 111 does not put a title on Harry and Meagan's children as it will be used wrongly. Be brave King Charles

    5. Well said "Anonymous20/12/22 16:59" CP Mary does appear to have adjusted to Danish life very well and she and the Crown Prince are raising a lovely family together. Crown Princess Mary met, fell in love with and married the man, not the Prince.

Anon 20/12/2022, 16:59. I wholeheartedly agree with you. Mary is an absolute asset to her adopted country. I admire her so for learning a very difficult language, and carrying the flag for Denmark for 18 long years, and that while she is very popular, dedicated and a devoted wife and mother! I can not wait for her to achieve the top, to be crowned queen! I can't WAIT for other women to have to curtsy before her, for a change .... ... she absolutely deserve being queen, she is a role model for millions. Mary I hope with all my heart that it is very soon in the future that you will at long last be crowned as queen!!!

  6. Looking at the pictures, I am sure these are taken by paparazzi and are not part of an official photo shoot. I wish you , (newmyroyals) would refrain from publishing these kinds of photos. It is an intrusion into these peoples private life, and I feel they are entitled to privacy. They do a lot of public work where we are invited to participate, so please let them be on private family holidays. Ladyofthemanor

    3. The royals also need the press. They go on these trips well aware that photographers will be there, and they need it too. That is the deal between the press and royals. Imagine the Danish crown prince family being away for weeks in Australia and not a single picture is taken. The royals need to be photographed from time to time to maintain their special position in the world. Still, Mary and Fred are not that interesting and photographed as much as they were years ago.

  12. I find it absolutely wonderful they can enjoy what this country has to offer, although there is a high crime rate recently and I would prefer to have there privacy higher... Well hopefully they are safe.. best wishes 🙏

  15. Dear Anonymous 20:50, Meghan Markle did not have more obstacles to overcome than Mary MacDonald. I have read more qualified books than you could ever imagine. Have you ever tried to learn Danish? Give it a try and write again. Extremely difficult, especially the pronounciation, for speakers of English.
Meghan Markle had all relevant information at her doorstep in her native language and should have been aware of all obstacles that would face her but
ambition clouded her sense of reality. Unfortunately, Meghan Markle is the one who probably failed to read the history books in question. I will continue to admire CP Mary, and not only for her linguistic skills.

    1. There is a big difference in being No. 1 and No. 2 in a royal family. The No. 2 cannot overshadow the heir to the throne and their spouse. This is the same situation in DK and in the UK. And both the royal houses and the press participate in this. Just look at talented Joachim and his king to be brother.

  16. This is a modern royal family who is taking the opportunity of the Christmas holidays to visit with their children their family in Australia. They are just doing what any other family would do if you have relatives abroad. I cannot see why one have to compare them with the Sussex family. Every (royal) family is different. Every person is different. In every country the habits are different. Stop to compare Harry and Meghan with other royals because their situation is completely different.
As long as it remains civilized, I think Prince Frederik and CP Mary don't bother the presence of paparazzi. Did you see prince Frederik waving his hand in the first picture ? Then they continued their way and didn't look at the photographers anymore. I think this is the best attitude.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year down under.

  17. When I read the comments above, it appears that the hate against the Sussexes is continuing, even at this time of the year.
    What a shame.
Please, let’s give it a break for a while and let’s give them a break.
How can anybody express hate during this festive, family period
against another person or people they don’t know.
    Again, what a shame.
    I feel sad.
