Bhutanese Royal Family attended celebrations of the 2022 National Day

The Kingdom of Bhutan celebrated the 115th National Day on December 17, 2022. In 1907, Gongsar Wangchuk was crowned as the first king of a united Bhutan. The national day has been celebrated in the country since then. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, Queen Jetsun Pema and their two children, and other members of the royal family attended the celebrations that took place at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu.

  2. Quelles magnifiques couleurs qui réchauffent ma journée assez fraîche surtout qu'un mauvais fonctionnement du chauffage en est la cause. Trop mignons les petits princes que je n'ai pas vus grandir ; j'ai fallli oublier la reine qui est toujours aussi belle !

  4. Queen Jetsun Pema is such a stunning lady--she looks so beautiful here. The rich colors of the silks are so gorgeous. The Crown Prince (I am not sure of his title) is getting so big! And his little brother is so adorable. Of course, the King is looking very handsome here too. How wonderful to see extended family members also. I would love to know more about the necklaces and earrings worn by the Queen and the other royal ladies.
