    2. Yes, no congratulations for Elenore's dress, I agree with Tulipe

  2. Queen Mathilde looks fabulous in her red gown and red shoes. Can't get a good look at her jewelry but she might be wearing her diamond fringe earrings which mimic the sparkles of her gown. I love her hair. Crown Princess Elisabeth looks wonderful in this blue gown with the very feminine draping. Her earrings coordinate well with her dress. Princess Eleonore is growing into a very charming young woman. While her dress is pretty, it looks a bit too mature for her. Prince Emmanuel looks like a taller, younger version of his father. It's good to see Prince Laurent and Princess Claire.

  3. The Royal ladies look beautiful. The Queen particularly looks divine, love the festive red color.

  4. Love the outfit on Q. Mathilde - great colour and flattering silhouette. The blue dress on CPE is excellent too. The draped neckline and statement earrings make quite an impact. She seems like a very poised and confident young woman who doesn’t mind standing out. P. Eleanore looks very pretty here in a dress that would also work in a more casual setting. It will be interesting to see how her style evolves. (V.M.)

  5. Eleonore has grown up over night but her dress is more summer/outdoors not for Xmas concert. Queen and Elisabeth look stunning

  6. Queen Mathilde looks great and Crown Princess Elisabeth is gorgeous. The split skirt is fine when standing but perhaps a tad revealing when seated. Princess Eleonore's dress seems to overwhelm her and Princess Claire, who I really like to see, is far too pale , bland and work like compared to the rest of the family

  7. Royal blue looks absolutely great on Princess Elisabeth. I've been longing for her to wear that color instead of repeated red outfits. Matched with flamboyant earrings borrowed from Queen Mathilde's collection.

As for Princess Eleonore, nice try but I wish for other DvF outfits to choose for cause we've seen it before on Princess Amalia. The prints seem a bit underwhelming for her.

  8. The illusion of having little children just went out the door. These Princes /ss are a beautiful bunch. The parent must be so proud and hopefully the Country as well. Pss Elisabeth's gown is stunning. Mathilde and Elenora gowns are very lovely too. Emmanuel was missing his brother Gabriel over towers them all. css

  9. The blue and red dresses are really stunning that’s the first thing you notice … and then you see the flower dress… I don’t understand that choice of dress.. it is not formal enough compared to her mother and sister. And moreover it is not a dress for a young girl.

Wow, the beauty family is back again!!
What somptous surroundings and both ladies and gents look terrific.
Elisabeth' blue gown is splendid and the high slit is a surprisingly edgy feature.
    Mathilde is splendid too.
Eleonore looks a bit embarassed or she is just shy.
Not sure her sartorial choice is appropriate on this formal festive occasion.

  11. A pity princess Eléonore wore a dress that doesn't suit her. She has better dresses than this. But she is still young. One day she will develop her own style and I'm sure we will be able to admire the beautiful princess which she is. The other royal ladies are dressed very lovely too.

  12. In my opinion the slit of Princess Elisabeth’s dress is far too long and inapproptiate for a young woman of her age and station.

    1. @ Virginia. She is young let her wear dresses that she likes. Maybe later on when she will be queen, she will not be able anymore to wear slits like this in public. The Dutch princesses are wearing one shoulder dresses on their Christmas card too. In the Netherlands nobody find the dresses of these young adults inappropriate.
