Seems like the Princess of Wales is into tone on tone dressing lately.

    1. Exactly, my thought as well, but I don't like this color for a monochrome outfit.

Her belt at the back of her coat is not straight. Her hair does not look too good either. Is her appearance slipping since Queen Elizabeth has gone?

Sure, a marginally crooked belt and hair that's been blown about on a windy day is a huge amount of evidence that she is letting standards slip. 🙄

    2. Agree, appearance is slipping immensely. The huge dark coat isn't a good choice because little children get ill.

    3. I wish I looked half this good on my best day.

    4. Anonymous I think you gave to little to do and too much to say.

    5. LoL, I can't stop laughing at this comment. If this is her appearance slipping, give me some of what she's doing. Even though I'm not a huge fan of this color, there's nothing wrong with it. This is a beautiful outfit.

    6. @Anon 08:48 I completely agree with you. These are the kinds of comments people make when they are desperate to make a comment but have nothing of value to say.

That is a very interesting assumption.

I have a slight fear that all we're going to see from the Princess of Wales this winter is monochromes in all shapes and colours! But of course she looks impeccable - olive green is a difficult colour to pull off and she does it perfectly. I also really like the close-up pictures, she looks very pretty and much more rested than in the last weeks (which is of course perfectly understandable!). And you can clearly see that she loves and knows kids - that knit dress is perfect for the occasion!

Nice style and color of the dress but not together with coat which is too dark .

    1. Yes the dress is the only thing I like !! The coat is too dark, too long, not attractive at all. I could well see the dress with a beige coat. The hair is not at its best either.

That’s a monochrome look that I like. Beautiful color. That coat is oozing luxury…

  6. I love this Hobb's Olive green coat, well crafted. The dress underneath is a fabulous color. Her color accessories perfect choice.

The dress is beautiful but I would have preferred it paired with a lighter coloured coat to make it stand out for the attention it deserves.

I like the olive green with her green eyes and complexion. The coat is attractive and practical. I do not understand the rigid attachment to very long hair from her younger days for a busy Princess and now mother of three. It does not enhance her appearance and looks increasingly silly.

I have to admit that I agree about her hair. Too long and girlish.

What has her being busy and a mother of three have to do with having long hair? They aren't mutually incompatible.

Her hair doesn't look silly - it looks like long hair, pretty similar to that of other women of her age or older.

I don't think there's an age limit for wearing your hair long. Doesn't look silly at all. I agree, though, that the colour is great for her complexion. Much better than the navy blue she so often wears.

    5. Catherine is 40, very soon 41. I don’t know any women in the 40s who cling to the long, long hair of their high school or University days. Actually, I don’t even know women in their 30s who do. She is an attractive woman no doubt with lovely features, but her hair looks increasingly silly as time goes by.

    6. Well @01:13 you obviously don't get out much or have a very wide social circle. Her hair doesn't look silly - it's just long hair, hardly a bright green mohawk.

  9. Kate nous a habitués à beaucoup mieux car ce look monochrome foncé ne l'avantage pas du tout même si son manteau est élégant peut-être un peu trop long !

Lovely outfit, the colors are perfect for fall, especially the olive green dress. The subtle highlights in her hair add to the entire outfit. Beautiful as ever! Anne
