  1. I do like the pieces, but not worn together. That's just too much going on. There' no need to match the poppy on her lapel with a burgundy top. Two solid colours should have done the trick, but not three.

Why do you think she was consciously matching the top and the poppy? She would be wearing the poppy no matter what colour her outfit.

  2. Trois jolies couleurs différentes mais je pense que l'association blazer/pantalon serait mieux dans la couleur camel tout en conservant le pull Bordeaux ainsi que les bottines en daim !

Sophie wears the colours of the apples!
Maybe the trousers in again a different colour are a bit too much, but nevertheless I think she looks quite good,

I love the pants but I really don't like the green together with the rest of the outfit. Pants and bag in burgundy would have been great

The trousers are a bit much, but the burgundy and beige combo suits Sophie really well. I actually prefer this colour pairing to Catherine's all beige look today.

  6. I think burgundy is a great color for her; the jacket seems to be a bit long, neither fish (a coat) nor flesh (a jacket). Again, I wonder whether her husband does any royal duties at all. If Pantone had created the colour of her pants, they would have had to call it "pea soup". Not one for the ages, I'm afraid.

Her husband does plenty of royal duties but unfortunately he isn't very glamorous so doesn't get much press. He is very involved with the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.

Too much color, the green fits with the camel color jacket not so much the top. css

  8. A different color combination, but I feel it works. The Countess looks lovely, very elegant, I particularly like the jacket. The brooch, looks effective, I'd love to see a closeup of it. Her subtle necklace looks nice.
