On November 20, 2022, King Felipe and Queen Letizia received participants of the 68th Annual Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly at the Royal Palace of Madrid. The NATO Parliamentary Assembly takes place in Madrid from November 19 to 21. The assembly coincides with the 40th anniversary of Spain's membership in the NATO.

Support for Ukraine and the response to the threat from Russia are also discussed.

  1. Elegance at its best

  2. I thought she looked superb untill I noticed the feathers. They seem a totally unnecessary extra just to try to make the suit different. She looks stunning enough without that extra fluff around her arms. We have seen this suit before and I did ot understand it then.
Maybe a bit less heavy makeup just under her eyes would also be better. That dark eyeshadow just under the eyes seems to be very fashionable lately Princess Mary, the D.of Cambridge and Princess Charlene are also doing it. I think it only suits Princess Charlene. It seems to make the other ladies just look tired.

  3. As in the frist time I just loved this suit, for me the feathers around her arms are some extra detail that make it different but still elegant. I love the hairdo for this look, make it fresh and vibrant. The only think that I would like to change a little it's the makeup, just to make her eyes lighter.

    1. Yes the feathers is an embellishment which brings some originality and they remain elegant.

  4. Oh, Letizia look super elegant and classy from head to toe.
Usually not fond of the heavy eye makeup but this time it works.
Not fond of the feathers as part of the clothes but as most of the time they are not too visible, then let they be.

  5. Queen Letizia - Chic, Smart, without question.
    The feathers don’t bother me.
My only dislike is the shoes, the slingbacks.
Maybe dress shoes or slightly ‘baggy’ pants covering high-heeled shoes.
King Felipe has to be one of, or perhaps, the best dressed Royal male in Europe.

  6. Of course nothing really wrong but a bit of colour would be nice in stead of the somber black,

    2. Me too, me too ;). I mean, she's just a walking masterclass in elegance. The feathers are just enough, not over the top. The earrings are perfect. And that smoky eye. *chef's kiss*

  11. Great trouser suit--it fits superbly. The whole look is terrific. My only issue is with the feathers--sorry, not a fan at all of that type of messy embellishment.

  15. I am not one for feathers and I certainly dont have the confidence or flair to carry them off successfully, but this black pantsuit looks fabulous, the feathers elevate the look and take the presentation up a notch, not just a regulation black pantsuit. The fit is perfect, I love the black top underneath and the black shoes. Her hair up and makeup looks exceptional. The diamond Chanel earrings are divine, subtle but stunning

  16. La prefección hecha traje. Un corte y confección exquisitos, como corresponde a Pertegaz. Las plumas son el detalle que convierte en traje de lujo a uno de negocios. Letizia está magnífica. El peinado, los zapatos y los pendientes son lo justo. 10/10.
