On November 21, 2022, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, together with Aurora Workshop, visited the National Museum in Oslo to hand over a dress to museum collection. The Crown Princess had worn that dress in June 2022 when she attended the official dinner held to mark the opening of the New National Museum. Aurora Workshop (Aurora Verksted) is a working community of artists with and without disabilities.
Aurora Verksted is selling high quality clothing and household goods made by its members with a variety of disabilities. The National Museum holds, conserves, exhibits and promotes Norway’s largest collections of art, architecture and design.
The pink hand-woven dress was designed by Norwegian fashion designer Peter Dundas. Simply gorgeous!

The colors of the coat/outfit are refreshing as we enter winter and very much compliment MM’s coloring. I love the pattern of the coat as well, but would prefer if it was knee length instead of floor length. Love that she is shining a light on such a great cause!

Mette-Marit looks beautiful in these bright colors! The fabric pattern is interesting and fun to examine. I wish that the coat had been shorter but that might be related to pattern origin. Also have to mention her makeup, which is very well done with some lip color and eye enhancement.

ردحذفI love the color and pattern of CP Mette-Marit's coat but, like others, I think a shorter version might be better. Her pink sweater and white pants/skirt(?) coordinate well with the coat. Her hair and makeup look very nice. I think the donation of her pink gown is very generous and I'm sure The National Museum was thrilled.

I'm not entirely sold on the floor-length design (simply because I guess it's very impractical), but the craftmanship is wonderful and the colours suit M-M very well.

Who is the designer, is the coat from Aurora Workshop as well? I usually don't like heavy prints, but this coat has gorgeous colors and looks perfect on the tall Crown Princess. I get some wonderful Scandinavian winter wonderland vibes - love it! Jane

For example, a ¾ length.
