On October 12, 2022, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, accompanied by Infanta Sofia, attended the 2022 National Flag hoisting ceremony, and air and land parades of Army Units, the Navy, the Civil Guard, the Military Emergency Unit, the Royal Guard, the State Security Forces and various Security, Civil Protection and Emergency Organizations.
The ceremony and parades took place at the Plaza de Lima. Afterwards, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted the traditional reception of the National Day at the Royal Palace.
October 12 is a national holiday in Spain on which the Spanish people commemorates the history of the country. It is officially called the Fiesta Nacional, or the Hispanic Day, which also commemorates the Spanish legacy to the world, especially in America.

This is a beautiful dress, with very interesting features. The neckline area is pretty, the color and fabric are gorgeous. Her diamond and pearl earrings are stunning, of wonderful quality, versatile, somewhat understand but look perfect with this outfit. Love her hair up, makeup looks perfect. The King looks resplendent in uniform. The Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez looks very well attired, he is a handsome man.

I love the style of Queen Letizia's dress but the colour is too pale and, even with her colouring, she looks washed out. Sofia's dress really suits her but I wish she would wear even a low heel rather than the very flat shoes (worst thing for your feet according to my podiatrist!) There's a woman at the side in pic 5 wearing a gorgeous purple dress which is the best of the day, I would say

Definitely in the minority here--I'm not a fan of Queen Letizia's dress in terms of style or color. In my opinion, the color is not a good one for her (I think CP Mette-Marit would look great in this color) and, sadly, the highwaisted style is rarely a good look for most women--even QLet in this case to me. QLet looks regal and beautiful but I just don't care for this dress. Princess Sofia looks lovely in her blue and white Carolina Herrera dress.

They all look great. I really love Letizia's dress but what has caught my attention is Sofia's height. She is 15 and almost as tall as Pedro Sanchez, the Spanish Prime Minister, who is 6'3 (190 cms) tall. Good grief, this girl is going to be seriously tall by the time she stops growing.
