On October 20, 2022, Swedish Queen Silvia presented Mayflower 2022 diplomas in a ceremony held at the Royal Palace. The students from Adolf Fredrik's music classes grades 6–8 won the Majblomman (Mayflower) fundraising competition in 2022 and they received their diplomas from the Queen. The Queen also presented diplomas to social actors who worked for the Mayflower donation campaign.
The students who have participated in Mayflower donation campaign and who have collected the highest amount donations won the competition. The money collected by the event is used all year for children to lessen the effect of poverty and financial defenselessness. Queen Silvia is patron of Majblomman.
