On October 11, 2022, Japanese Princess Kako attended the closing ceremony of the 77th Japan National Sports Festival in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture. The Princess presented the Emperor's and the Empress's cups. The Festival is the national premier sports event of Japan. It consists of three stages. The Autumn tournament takes place in September and October. Its name is often abbreviated to Kokutai.

  1. Délicieuse Kako dans cette couleur rose vif associée à du blanc sans oublier sa coiffure sur laquelle un petit vent de fraîcheur a soufflé. Depuis quelque temps, il me semble que de la nouveauté a modifié son dressing même s'il y a encore beaucoup de choses à améliorer ! Il faut espérer que cela va déteindre sur toute la famille impériale !

  6. Used to seeing the Japanese royal ladies in pale colours so this bright fuchsia pink is a welcome change and looks so much better. Wish Princess kako could have got rid of the somewhat dated white shoes but a great outfit for her.

  8. Here in the West, we would probably consider the white shoes dated, but perhaps somebody is properly informed and could give us a “Japanese” opinion.
